Great smoothie bowls. Granola is top notch. The smoothies are exquisite. Fruit is fresh and nut butters are good. I recommend cashew. I went twice in two days and got the Super and Tropic energy. Both were very good. If you’re not into caffeine, I would substitute coconut water for the fancy tea in the Tropic Energy drink. That way you get some extra hydration instead of caffeine. The only better thing would be if they served acai as a base, but they explained why they don’t serve acai and it makes sense!

The employee who took my order was fine. The smoothie was lackluster. The space is cute. Location great. Smoothie bowl? Oooof: The granola was soggy, blueberries mushy like they were frozen and then thawed out. The smoothie itself was almost liquid?—almost like they had made it in advance and just stuck it in a fridge? Who knows. Expected my smoothie bowl to be made fresh since I ordered in but that clearly wasn’t the case.

Nice vibe and the staff was helpful and attentive. They have a nice selection, however, I feel it is overpriced. I have NO issues spending money on healthy things that go in my body, but I felt that $11 for this N5 and $9+ for my wife's smoothie was a bit extreme. The flavor was good, but I'll continue making my smoothies at home.

The only thing some people may struggle with is price. I get that, but to understand what you are paying for, realize this is an environmentally and nutritiously responsible establishment. Sure you may be able to get some of this cheaper, but only if you are willing to cut corners and reduce the nourishment of what you choose to consume.

Go hungry and get the CBJ Bowl which is a mix of fruits, grains and smoothie - delicious right!? It's a big bowl, tasty and nutritious. What can be better than that.

I found their signage in store to have humor I enjoy.

Their commitment to sustainable utensils and ware, is something I hope most people respect. We Americans are leaving a huge trash footprint and every little step we can take to compost is a good thing for our children and grandchildren's generations. The J.L. is committed to almost completely removing solid un-biodegradeable wastes from their stores. For now this commitment costs more, but as businesses like this are supported the costs of these practices will come down. So we are literally helping to bring this kind of philosophy to the mainstream and helping to make it cheaper the more we support businesses committed to doing things...

I have been going to The Juice Laundry since day 1!! I have to say as a whole I can stand behind this company, it’s mission statement, it’s employees, and it’s juice 100%. As someone who has lived in major cities across the country, the juice here is still unrivaled in quality and taste by far. The organic ingredients stand on their own in each unique blend.. if I could I would survive off of nothing else. I love how eco-friendly the whole store is from start to finish, you can tell they care about the environment of the world and just as much collectively as a community in Charlottesville. Thank you to The Juice Laundry’s amazing staff for working so hard to keep up the friendly, upbeat, and all inclusive atmosphere both inside the shop & out. You all have truly made a positive impact on my life in more ways than one! Love you all & LONG LIVE THE...

What a gem of Charlottesville - as a personal trainer and massage therapist I am always looking for quick, high-nutrient, affordable fuel for myself and clients. The cold pressed juice at the Juice Laundry always tastes great and gives me energy for hours to come. My personal favorites are the Clean Green and Gentle Green as they are delicious and give me the energy I need between clients without weighing me down! And for the cost of organic produce in the store, if you've ever juiced you know that for the volume & quality standards - this juice...
