UPDATE: went here with some friends and got the same dish I always get, and although slightly salty, it was ten times better then it was the last time I went and wrote this review! I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and our last visit was the worst experience food wise, which was disappointing. The staff has always been great, and the gentleman who took care of us was very nice. The dish I ordered is the same dish I’ve gotten every time I’ve been, so when I ordered my favorite dish this visit and I wasn’t able to enjoy it because it was so salty was very disappointing. We did inform the staff and they were very kind to remake it for me, which I was excited about because it’s my favorite dish, only to be brought back a dish that had no flavor and was very bland. I’ve had this dish multiple times before and it’s never been unsatisfactory to the point I couldn’t eat it, and to be brought out a dish that had ZERO flavor was super disappointing. I’m not sure what happened that night, but I’m hopeful it doesn’t happen the next time we visit!

We ordered carry out for the first time from Pineapples Thai for lunch this past Sunday. The food was ready right on time and still quite warm by the time we got it home. The restaurant is well lit and beautifully decorated. Lots of vegetarian options as it appears almost every dish can be made with tofu instead of meat. The Pik Sod Tofu and Pad Thai with tofu were our 2 favorite dishes. The Pik Sod comes with lots of jalapeños so beware of the spiciness. The Pad Garlic Tofu was a little bland and the Fried Veggie Gyozas were not to our liking but we would definitely order from their again. We ordered brown rice in place of white rice which was delicious but we were surprised to see that the containers were only 3/4 full of rice which left us short a little rice. We were happy to see the server wearing a mask. The online ordering system was very easy and we appreciated the range of options when placing our order. We didn’t get a chance to have a drink but that full-bar seemed inviting and look forward to eating there in person in the future.

I ordered for takeout and there is an option for an employee to bring it out to your car. Not sure how this would work since you can’t see the lot from inside and the employees are focused on getting your order together. So I went inside to pickup my takeout. Employees were very kind and professional. The beef noodle soup was initially disappointing due to small quantity. It was packaged with toppings and noodles separately to prevent sogginess and the soup in a smaller container. Despite the small size of entree, the soup was amazing and I would give it a 4.8/5. Definitely recommend the beef noodle soup for the depth of flavor. The drunken noodle was delicious with a good portion size I was happy with it. Large chunks of chicken and vegetables, it was delicious 4.3/5. The Thai tea was very watered down and disappointing unfortunately. The green tea cheesecake with ice cream was very small and felt overpriced. I would like to try Pineapples Thai again but dine in instead of takeout!

My husband and I are new to the area and have been searching for a great Thai restaurant. The only reason I gave two stars is because the first two times here were perfectly fine and the food was great especially the Tom yum lemongrass soup. However, our experience last night was absolutely terrible and we had even brought a friend with us (super embarrassing). We were brought the wrong soup (typically not a big deal), but we never received the correct one even after two other entrees arrived and were mostly finished. This was ordered as my husband’s meal! Meanwhile they were seating customers left and right until the restaurant was completely full. They had like 2 servers working and they obviously couldn’t handle it. Why did they seat so many people without warning?? Anyway we continued to wait for the nonexistent soup after my friend and I finished our meals and were ready to leave. The server was deliberately ignoring us every time we tried to get his attention. I noticed others becoming very disgruntled too. There were only two other tables seated when we arrived so we had been there for awhile. My friend was fed up and walked to the front to pay and get the soups to go. We continued to wait longer and still no soup. I really feel like they just wanted us to leave without it because it was an ordeal trying to get a refund. After advising a few couples to dine elsewhere, they were glad to give the refund for the soup and get us out of there. Haha. It seemed like they were more occupied taking takeout orders. Avoid this restaurant on the weekends! We will have to keep searching for great Thai restaurant because this dumpster...
