Arminio's has become something of a staple in our family's wheelhouse of easy meals. Every pie we've ordered from this Chatham pizzeria has either been right on or proximal to those elusive perfect proportions of sauce, crust, and cheese. As such, it's no surprise that every time I've gone to either order or pick up a slice, the phone is ringing off the hook while a few folks are waiting for their meals. When things get that busy, it's hard to offer the friendliest service, but I certainly appreciate how efficiently the folks behind the counter work.

Recently, we took a chance on the grandma pies, and WOW. These are arguably even better than the conventionally circular pies, with a square and slightly thicker crust that are baked in pans and have a significant crunch that we didn't know we needed. If you've only been ordering their regular pies, I'd highly recommend giving these a try.

There's no parking lot and a limited amount of street parking available out front, so trying to find a spot for your car can be tough, especially around mealtimes. But if you're just dipping in and out of the restaurant for a takeout order, there's a strip of no parking spots right around the corner where folks seem to leave their cars for a quick second while grabbing their...

Who knows if they’re good or not. Was gonna walk in but the 2 guys had their jackets, hats and gloves on at 9:45. All the pizza trays were empty. The general practice is to stay in work mode until closing time then clean up and go home not be ready to run out the door as soon as it hits the hour. Maybe next month when I’m in town again I can grab a slice or maybe not. Well I tried again tonight, I mean you said I was being unreasonable. Again, couldn’t get a slice of pizza. It’s 9:45 and shouldn’t I be able to get a slice? You said you were closing in 15 minutes and I can only get what you have left over. Am I still unreasonable? What do I have to do to get a normal slice of pizza? If you only have regular pizza until 9 let people know so they don’t waste their time. Imagine going to Burger King and have them telling you we don’t have burgers but you can have nuggets because we close in 15 minutes. Doesn’t sound right does it? Sept.2023. Tried again tonight at 9:30 to get a slice. Again no regular slices and no slice pie in the oven. I don’t get it. I’m sure you’re gonna respond with “I checked the cameras” but c’mon, this shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe it’s me and my assumption that I can buy a slice of pizza at a...

This is just a deceiving rating, their pizzas might be good but gods sake i order pasta and garlic bread and everything is just terrible (pasta tastes like it has out of date ingredients) the side salad is old, Garlic bread uses a old bread (that comes soggy and tastes like nothing at all with a little of herbs just to make it worse) i cant even eat had to order new dinner. Just all around terrible. And no i don't want your excuses this kind of food only shows you are like this everyday if you ate the food you send out maybe you would not do this to your customers. So no i will not try again! And again this is not the first time and more not trying to make you look bad you already do that very well by the food you sent. Its not possible to eat without getting sick from it...

I was looking for a local place next to my in-laws house for dinner to take my wife over the weekend and after reading the reviews, I knew I had to give Arminio’s a shot. All I can say is that it didn’t disappoint at all! The place is clean, cozy, and the workers were super friendly. Our waitress Vicky took great care of us and made sure that we were enjoying everything. We were served fresh bread and freshly chopped salads that were tasty and colorful. I ordered the calamari marinara and absolutely loved it! The hearty sauce is something that can’t be had anywhere else and the mussels were plenty and high quality. I know exactly where I will take my family next time and am looking forward for more great food! -Yusef E

Arminio’s used to be good. I have tried again and again and again with them, and this past weekend 4/1/22, was it for me. This is my “large” cheese cardboard pizza. I could not even give it to the kids. We tried some of their other dinners, fettuccine alfredo, and it was awful, the only thing they have going is their chicken, and even that was chewy. So beyond disappointing family meal with them. Do NOT waste your money, and please just go to Villiage Tratt in Summit, NJ instead; the Gross Family

Stopped in to see what Chatham Pizza had to offer for the Pizza Hunters App and was pleasantly surprised. The people were really nice and instantly acknowledged you when you walked in the door. The pizza is made up front and you can see all of the fresh ingredients that are used. Fresh and made with love. The pizza slice was excellent and had a great blend from the cheese, sauce and crust. A very nice crust. A little thicker than most slices, but works really well. I would go back.
