I have been buying the hazelnut praline chocolate cake for my daughter for a few years now. Last year they messed up my order and this year the price for a small 6 inch cake shot up from 38$ to 60$. I am ok with reasonable increase in price with economic challenges related to rise in price of ingredients but DOUBLING the price of a 6 inch cake and charging 60$ without even letting me know when I emailed the order in is RIDICULOUS. I DON’T think the cake is made out of gold and to my disappointment the hazelnut tastes so old and smells so bad taht we had to take it out of the cake. I know this cake comes with a layer of praline in between which was missing this year despite paying double.

What this means is the owner is all about ripping people off their money with inconsistent quality.

I will never go back to this place again and you can be happy that you lost a loyal customer not...

This place is a complete FRAUD for identifying themselves as a "FRENCH" bakery. For context, my husband and I travelled to France, and I can say with authority, this place is not French. I second the sentiment expressed by another reviewer, the quality is like that of a “SUPERMARKET". First, I purchased four (4) almond croissants and none had almond paste. The texture was like that of croissants sold at BJ’s Wholesale – not authentic French croissants. Second, I purchased a Danish raisin that had three (3) raisins!!! Third, I purchased two (2) quiches – one of goat cheese and one of mushrooms. According to my husband, the goat cheese quiche was not good at all. All old, I wasted $42.00. The chocolate mouse cake is a must! And I normally don’t like mouse. My mom got me that cake for my birthday… ever since then, she always orders cakes from this place for any birthdays, celebrations graduations I wish I had more pictures because we always get cakes from this bakery.

My friend tried this chocolate mousse cake last year, and every few months brings up that cake that she still dreams about it. I’m going to get the same one for her birthday.

It’s creamy and sweet but not too sweet and has this crunchy part inside… can’t explain. But it has nice layers and it doesn’t have too much frosting, and whatever cream on top they use it is delicious.
