Bar Watson — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Black haired bar tender isn't very kind and seems to be in love with herself, shows thru her fake smile. Was going to order a drink and was told to move out of area where she serves drinks. It's a bar. I saw no designated ' this is the serving area' Rest of the staff was kind. 1st drink was standard, 2nd watered down margarita mix. Will I go again ? No, never. Also know there's a 10 buck cover charge, to be treated like your in the way. Your decision is on you, mine has been made. If it were not for the very kind bartender on the Spanish side of the bar I wouldn't have left any stars, she needs to be placed in charge of teaching the other bartenders how one greets a customer.

Hi Doc You began wrong by imagining Im the kind of person that would just stand in the way. In fact I had just walked up to order. No one asked me to move multiple times, they would only have to ask one time. I conduct myself in a professional manner when I'm out always. I know the rules of bar equitte. I'm probably the same age as you, so it wasn't my first trip out. I imagined you being a business owner would like to know how things were being ran. I guess I imagined wrong. Bar Watson is a multi-faceted club. I "discovered" it over a year ago, and I have been going back ever since. There are two separate bars to explore, each with its own vibe. There tends to be a good mix of people who go there. The staff are fantastic. A total of three service bars inside and the bartenders will keep your glass full with a smile. They have pool tables, and different activities planned for certain nights. They have two dance floors and two DJ's to keep the music pumping. My favorite night to go to Bar Watson is Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday karaoke night with DJ Danz. DJ Danz is one of the best karaoke jocks ever. He's got the voice, the personality, and the know-how to make anybody's karaoke experience a fun and memorable one. He makes it exciting! He is a darn good dance dj as well. DJ Danz gets 10 Stars! Bar Watson is changing, for the better. I'm generally not a "bar person" but this place has become my "Cheers". They refuse to order Jack Daniel’s Honey Whiskey or American Honey Whiskey saying it is a supply issue. Bud’s has both. Mellow Mushroom has Jack Daniel’s Honey. Harry’s and Malone’s has American Honey. Chattanooga Billiards Club has American Honey and Jack Daniel’s Honey. Miller’s Ale House has Jack Daniel’s Honey. Cheddar’s has Jack Daniel’s Honey. Bar Watson carried American Honey for us for years when the previous owners were there. We made it perfectly clear we would love to come there and pay a cover charge for Friday and Saturday nights if they would carry our favorite alcohol. They had it twice then said it is a supply issue. Not true. All those other bars can get American Honey Whiskey or Jack Daniel’s Honey. They could too. This is terrible customer service. We went there for years when it was Palms and Bar Watson. The current owners just don’t care about pleasing customers who would spend lots of time and money there IF they would just have our favorite liquor.
