Fairly regular here, but decided to share because of current events. EXPECT A WAIT if you are not wanting hibachi and instead want to dine in the dining room. Signs were posted on the entrance deterring people who have or recently showed symptoms. After taking your name and number for seating, they will text you to let you know your table is ready. There is no seating inside to wait; stand outside or sit in your vehicle. Tables along the wall with the bench seating that usually seat three on each side now only seat two, with the remaining seat left empty, keeping diners six feet apart (with the included gap between tables). There are tables that seat more, but the tables between them are also left empty, so the reduced seating increases the wait time. Wait and bus staff were wearing masks at all times. Signs are posted on the tables with a QR code linking you to a website (your smartphone's camera can detect them to provide the link) where you can read the menu (also, the online menu can be used to order pickup, and you can even customize your order; neat!). If you are overly cautious of being close to people you do not know, I do not know how they are handling hibachi now; when we went several months ago, they were still seating people was they were usually seated at hibachi tables: groups were randomly put together to fill the table. They had pre-packages plastic utensils then, but we did not for dining room service. Service was still fantastic (the waitress apologized for the wait on the sushi due to only having 2 chefs on, but it still came before we finished the app, so who am I to complain?), and the food was delicious. Had the shrimp tempura appetizer, edamame, and sushi (pictured below).

Sorry for the rant....We came into town and met up with my sister and cousins. In total 11 of us dined. 5 adults, 6 kids. I know it's not all about entertainment but every hibatchi restaurant I've went to the cook was enjoyable and made the table laugh and have fun. Especially the kids. Our chef tossed his spatula at the beginning and balanced 1 egg. The other cooks around us were very different. 2nd issue.... Even though we paid 3 seperate checks, they still added the gratuity. Not a huge deal but I like to choose what your tip is worth. I feel the cook was like well I'm automatically getting a tip so I don't need to be extra. 3rd issue... We were there during lunch time. I ordered the shrimp with rice. The rice was great and received 1/2 a plate worth then received 5 SMALL pieces of shrimp. This was a $15 meal. I will never go to this location again. The photo was taken after he plated the shrimp. I had already eaten some rice bc I was hungry and don't like cold rice. My daughter which is 8 (they wouldn't allow us to share meals) ordered steak and rice. That cost $11. Same issues, 1/2 a plate of rice and 8 small small pieces of steak. Spent $37.00 for us 2 and still ended up having to get more food at the mall afterwards because we were still hungry. We weren't told about the small portion sizes up front and if that is a regular thing then the lunch prices shouldn't be so high.

We had a great meal at Fuji. The highlight of the meal was our chef who was very engaging and entertaining (he invited some of the young guests at the table to try their hand with some of the (safe) cooking utensils and ingredients. I'm pretty picky about my Japanese steakhouse amenities (e.g. sauces, quality and quantity of fried rice, friendliness of staff, cleanliness) and I feel that Fuji is the best in town when it comes to quality and value. They are not the cheapest, but they are reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. One negative I would point out is the close proximity of one table to the next in the restaurant. Some Japanese steakhouses have separate rooms that allow two tables per room which provides a bit of privacy and intimacy, but there are no dividers in this restaurant, just one big open floorplan with all of the tables within sight and earshot of each other. Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience. This restaurant is best for those looking for a casual, fun, and quality hibachi meal at a moderate price.

I am not one to leave a bad review but this was just bad.

So we were seated at a table at about 430 pm, the 5 of us. I am 9 months pregnant.

We waited like 15 mins after being seated because no server came to us. I went to the desk and requested one. Finally, a man came. He was asking everyone what they wanted without writing it down.

I ordered vegetables and rice and cucumber sushi while everyone else got hibachi with meat and sushi. I also ordered spring rolls.

It took a long time just to get basic drinks then they brought out the sushi without any soy sauce, chopsticks or any sauce.

Finally, a waiter woman was walking by and we asked her for it. She had a major attitude.

So at like 530PM, they brought out food for everyone but me and the server just walked off.

The irritated woman came by to bring white sauce and my bf wanted to say something abiut the meat not beung cooked and i wanted to mention that i didnt even get food. She said that she is "getting it" and walked off before we could say anything.

At about 550 pm, An older Asian woman asked if we are ready for our check, i said no, i never got my food. She said "okay" and brought me an empty plate and a fork- i guess she was assuming that i was gonna share with someone.

Then our original waiter man came by and asked if we need a refill on our drinks because everyone's cups were empty and its been almost an hour and a half since we came in. I think he legit forgot to put in my order. I got my food at 620ish. I wish i didnt even bother with it. It was super burnt. I also never got my spring rolls

While this was happening at a table, the table beside ours, the people also didnt one of the plates ot foods and appearantly they got the bill though for the food that they never got. Fuji's refused to take it off the bill and it was only like something like $10. So they had the police called on and it was this huge scene.

And honestly, the sushi was the worst. It tasted old.

The floor was hecka sticky.

I will never ever come back. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The reason being that i get them having a busy day and an order here and there messed up but this was many peoples orders and the attitude was unnecessary. We have super sweet and friendly. And we were charged for everything and even left a good tip....

I checked out the reviews before we came and thought this would be a good place for a birthday lunch. We came in at noon on a Sunday. Dining room was less than full. Everyone in our party was there and ready. The hostess said “you’re going to have to wait. Our cooks just took their break.” Okay…cool. But didn’t yall just open a hour ago?

20 minutes go by, other groups get seated who came in well after us. We eventually get seated. I start to look around and notice how much build up of dust and lack of deeper cleaning gets done here. Drinks were filled with hardly any ice. It’s already 100 degrees outside and the temp in the restaurant doesn’t seem much better. While our waiter and hibachi cook were friendly, the food was utterly disgusting. The carts the uncooked food were on had not been cleaned in quite sometime. Same food was being stacked on top of one another, cross contaminating everything it touched. The hygiene and cleanliness of the staff was not there. Chef coats that look like they have not been washed in weeks.

The grill was set too high. Burning the food on the outside but not getting all the way cooked on the inside. Throwing sauce on it doesn’t magically cook to the right temperature or cover the burnt taste. If you order the filet mignon, you will get just a regular fatty cut of steak. There’s no difference in taste, just price. The seafood sauce taste like pure sugar and mayo. Fried rice was crunchy. Chicken chewy and shrimp inedible. The miso soup and salad were the only redeeming quality.

Lastly, the treatment of the goldfish in the “tank” is inhumane. They do not have enough room to properly swim, much less grow. Their scales are rotting off of them because of their living situation. If the staff cannot take proper care of them, they should not have them to begin with.

Because the food was not cooked correctly, me and my whole family have been terribly sick for two days after eating here. Save your money and go...

Went to this restaurant with my family before heading out on a flight. We ordered Sake that came out and was super sour in taste and smelled like vomit. The product had gone bad. No apology or explanation from management, but they did comp the drinks. We ordered beer and wine instead. Then we ordered sushi rolls, and to be fare it was half off day, which was a good deal. I ordered mine with no spicy Mayo because I have an allergy. It still came with spicy mayo. The server apologized and showed me the ticket to show it was the kitchen’s mistake. They offered to remake the rolls and I said yes due to my allergy. My family said that if they were just going to throw it in the trash anyway, that they would keep them. The server left them so they presumed that was why she left them and they ate them. They remade my rolls which still took awhile because everyone else was done eating before mine arrived. When I got the bill I saw the rolls were still on there. When I asked the server about it she said it was because my family ate them. I’m not one to raise grief or throw a fit over $20, so I did not argue. I simply payed and tipped accordingly. While I know my family ate the rolls, I also know it’s not what they would have chosen if we were going to be charged full price anyway. We should have just let them waste food and throw it in the garbage and then my family could have just got what they wanted. Between the sour sake and the mistake on the rolls I figured at least one roll should have been comped if not both. This just shows poor management in my mind. It’s a shame, but I don’t do business with establishments that care more about their bottom line than the customers satisfaction. I will not returning to this...
