As a frequent visitor of Buffalo Wild Wings it is rare for me to notice a visible, above average, advantage between a given location. Whether speaking of the cleanliness of the visiting establishment, food selection and quality, or overall server performance, as location usually offer the same 2-3 star experienced. I mean, if we're honest with ourselves your patrons accept that BBW is just a commercialized sports bar. But for me, tonight, on the 30th of October 2015, between the times of 5:00pm - 6:45pm I am pleased to say I had an above average time at your location.
Starting with my initial enterance to the restaurant, I was greeted by multiple happy faces, both male and female (I add that because male servers are usually stiff and uninviting). My colleague and I was seated promptly and informed about potential appetizers and had our drink order taken very quickly.
After having a descent amount of time to browse the menu and make our selection, our waitress, whose name escapes me, returned with recommendations and information about the menu.
Throughout the meal we never once had our glasses get below 75% empty before it was replenished by our waitress.
As expected our wings and appetizers were the correct tempture and treated marvelous.
Upon considering dessert, out waitress was once again like our own personal BBWoogle. We had questions, she had answers.
In closing, I offer two negative remarks and then a question. I could not submit a 5 star rating for your location because due to poor management, shipping issues, or poor communication, our waitress was unable to fulfill our total request. My dining partner requested a large order of "Honey Mustard boneless wings" he was denied because you were out. Secondly, I ordered cinnamon squares for my dessert order, I too was denied because it was unavailable. Two items were unavailable from your menu causing a change in my pallet's desire therefore causing me to adjust my original meal preferences. Greater concern should be made to inform customer of what is available "in house" from the menu before they are denied multiple times during a meal. As we dined, we noticed a break-out meeting happening in the bar area. That was the time to inform the staff of these opportunities so they may better equip their customer to make "available item" descions from the menu.
My question is in regards to who my waitress was. She was a young lady, probably early twenties. African-American race, nose ring, yellowish tented hair. I would love to know she was recognized for her exceptional performance.
Thank you for your time and hopefully willingness to address this message.

Read moreSo, we've ordered to go from this particular location several times. To the tune of a couple times a month. The food is always great, and it's generally ready within a five minutes of when they say it will be.
We never get to go out. I work over 65 hours a week, every week. And I commute an hour each way to work 6 days a week. So, needless to say, not much free time.
But tonight we had this crazy idea that we were going to go to Buffalo Wild Wings and have a few drinks, eat some good food, etc...
We were incredibly disappointed. Upon entering, the hostess station was unmanned. After a moment, a young women asked us "how many"?. It was very blunt and to the point. We told her it was just 2, and despite the fact that there were 5 booths, 3 of which were clean, we were told it would be a minute before we could be seated and to wait in the "to go" area.
We were crowded in the to go area after about five minutes when a family of 5 came in and were told to wait in the same area. After about five more minutes they left.
Now, this next part is going to be hard to believe. We were initially spoken to at 840pm. At 857 a party of 10 arrived and were seated at 859. That's when we left. 19 minutes later.
When we left there were 11 tables and booths available. 6 of them were clean. The hostess didn't even acknowledge us when we left as she was currently getting menus to seat another party.
Overall, the entire experience was disillusioning. The food is great, but the service is shotty, and the staff was unprofessional. Waitresses were seated at tables with their guests talking. One was leaned over the banister to take an order. And the hostess was rude and was not at all accommodating. It would have been different if there were no tables, or the personnel had checked in on us, or the restaurant was slammed, but it just wasn't the case.
And I really hate to say that. We really just wanted to enjoy the night out. Now we're sitting on the couch playing games on our phones. Save yourself the trouble. Go...
Read moreUpon entering the Buffalo Wild Wings in Hixson, I stood and waited to be seated. Two waitresses glanced over and saw us standing there. While we were standing there, 6 men walked right passed us and sat down. One of the waitresses who saw us, went to help those gentlemen while the other waitress started sweeping. We stopped her and asked her if she could get a manager because we had been waiting for some time. She got the manager and we explained that no one tried to seat or help us and that 6 people sat down and were helped while we were standing there. The manager sat us and said she would get someone "who would want to serve us" to help us. She got our drinks and began talking to an African American waitress as the other 2 waitresses said they did not want to help us. Instead of coming to help us, that waitress went to take the order of a couple who entered after we did and the manager came over to give us our drinks. We explained that we were ignored again, 2 people who entered the establishment after us had received menus and had their order taken before us. She said she would help us then she retracted and said she was gonna get someone who wanted to help us. She did not care that we had been overlooked again and that our order would be after 2 parties who entered after us. We explained we could go somewhere else and she shrugged her shoulders and when we asked for a district managers number, she walked away and said it's on the door. She did not care that 2 waitresses had ignored us and her statement about finding someone who wanted to help us implies that the first 2 white waitresses did not want to help us because we're African American and she did nothing about this. It is ashamed that such behavior and bigotry is tolerated by management at this establishment. Also, the last time I was here, the bartender turned all the lights off while patrons were eating and yelled that it was fight night...
