Subway — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I was an employee here, I just started not too long ago. They have switched managers and the new one is awful. I had to call out because of car trouble (which was something I had no control over) she proceeded to scream into the phone at me telling me to "Hold on" and "stop talking" she then handed the phone to the owner of the owner of the store who was very rude as I explained my situation, and after I apologized for not being able to come in he hung up on me. Him wife then called me the following day to ask if I was coming in and again my car is still in the shop, and I told her that it was supposed to be ready in a few hours, she then started in on me telling me that I had asked for more hours and told me that wasn't supposed to call out because "I was new and hadn't worked enough days to call out" in my defense I did say that my car (a 1991 Crown Vic) was still in the shop due to the radiator, needed an oil change, break pads and an alignment along with 2 blown tires that had to be replaced. She told me that she would have to schedule someone else and that they didn't have the people and had to call in 3 others from different stores. They can't keep employees there because they want to work them like slaves and not pay them like they are supposed to. Awful place to work, they have a fly problem (landing on the meats and dead flies inside the containers holding the meats) they land on peoples food and it still goes out them they just swat them off and continue what they were doing before. I placed an online order and sent my husband to pick it up. He was asked did he have an order and he responded yes it was placed online. She immediately says well it ain’t here, not even looking to see if it was. My husband said I have the order number and confirmation if you need to see it. Lori Price then proceeds to say I said it’s not hear and get the (F)..out my store!!! As im listening to all this in shock!! He asks for the manager, Lori Price then says she’s is the manager!! I walked into this Subway in Hixson in Walmart to order sandwiches. Flies were flying all around the condiments and food. When I brought it to the attention of the older employee, she said yes they are all over Walmart, there is nothing we can do about it. There was a younger girl who remained quiet while fixing other sandwiches. I stood there astonished that she didn't pretend to care and proceeded to try to take my order. I advised I could care less about flies in Walmart (the store) but would not be ordering food from employees who did not try to swat flies away and was more than fine with serving it to their customers....
