DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chattanooga

We didn't know what the place was until we went inside. Me and my good friend were driving around the area Wednesday June 29 around 7pm and decided to go into the store and check it out. As we walked into the door we were greatly greeted by a young man with brownish hair, who then helped me and my friEnd as we knew nothing about how the whole ordering your food worked. The whole experience was absolutely amazing! We were then Nicely greeted by a young lady who when walked us through with finishing our order.I really enjoyed watching how fast and efficient they both moved as they took us down the line. We sat in the store and ate, we were there for a good hour. And honestly I was extremely impressed about how they kept the store clean! Because before we came we read the reviews and they were not really the best. As we left the store the same lady with glasses opened the door for us as we walked out and thanked us for coming Furthermore our experience was beyond amazing, and we will be back in hopes that we will experience the same thing. We’ve visited this location probably 20 times since it has opened and never had a very good experience, but the food is great so we keep coming back. Today was the final nail in the coffin for me. I was the second person in line and waited for 20 minutes to order food. There was a full staff of 5 people working and the restaurant was close to empty at this time. Our food was given to someone else and we waited for an additional 20 minutes to have a plain cheese quesadilla remade. I asked for drinks plus a water cup and was told I could put whatever I wanted in the water cup (who says that?!?). It was a train wreck from start to finish and I will not be back. The owner needs to be spending more time at this location because it’s been awful since it opened and shame on me for giving repeat business. The employees are ALWAYS painfully slow, it’s cringeworthy.

The food is good but the service makes it miserable. Terrible unfriendly attitudes, to-go orders are consistently wrong, and this last visit with my nephews (5 and 3) just was the last straw. My sister-in-law ordered a glass of Jarritos strawberry soda and needed two cups with lids so the kids wouldn’t spill. The lady at the register insisted that the cups with lids were an additional charge and would not provide them even though the Jarritos was MORE expensive than the fountain drinks. She was willing to pour the drink in front of the cashier to prove she was not trying to steal $2.25 from the company. The cashier did not back down and when the children inevitably spilled, they were out of napkins to top off the whole experience!
