I have had the pleasure of eating Clumpies Ice Cream 🍨🍦 for years. I was in charge of Security at Coolidge Park 🏞️ .The company is just across the Street from Coolidge. It is located in an older building 🏢, that has been renovated. If you don't like steps go in from the front side 😅. No need to sweat. You guys have arrived for your long overdue 😋 treat. The energized staff is ready to provide 👍great customer service. They are all energized in their cute little uniforms. These are really popular with the public. The young folks love them ! You can purchase some memorable items, with their name inscribed on them. "Clumpies Ice Cream" .You guys will definitely remember this name. It's a fun, nice place, with comfortable chairs. This makes a great environment. It's busy year round in the winter 🥶 as well. They have over 50 different flavors. The most popular one is my favorite "Cookies and Cream. " You ever heard of a" Sweet Potato 🍠 Casserole Ice Cream. Try it , and they do give samples. It's good 👍. You probably are thinking 🤔 how does that work ? This is just another tasty 😋 treat. There is the old school 🏫 "Root Beer Float". Did you have your coffee ☕ ? What about a Mocha coffee. Now you are wide awake 😂 Caramel Corn, and Vanilla Bean will work. There you have it if you are vegan lol. They are vegan friendly, 🥺 inquire. Last , but not least I love waffles 🧇. They have a waffle cone . It's solid to hold a lot of 🍨. You guys come here it's like eating breakfast, lunch, and, dinner lol. The drinks are traditional 🥤. Hopefully you eaten dinner but, if not I gotcha covered. Go check out my other Restaurants Reviews. I 💕...

Rich tasty ice cream. Lots of flavors. Unique flavors! Non-dairy options!Cute and cozy environment. This is a hidden gem! Lots of details below..

Our daughter recommended this after dinner. What a perfect way to end wonderful meal! The location is in a quaint eating and dining area with the Coolidge Park nearby. The shop itself is clean and bright.

They have a board on the wall with a wide range of flavors. I suggest taking a picture of the board if you have to wait in line because it takes a while to decide what you want.

They do offer tastes of different flavors but it's probably good to narrow it down to two or three before you get up to the counter!

They have a wide variety of serving options cups and cones and Sundaes etc. We went with the straight cones.. by the way they also serve a variety of non-dairy flavors. My daughter seems to have a milk issue so it worked out perfectly for her!

There was a line. But it moved pretty quickly. They had lots of staff on hand for a scooping. And by the way we needed the two or three minutes in line to decide what we wanted. And by the way this was a hot busy Saturday night. So I imagine we were at peak rush hour.

There is on street parking, but there's also on street parking behind the building that seems more available. Just circle the block and look for a spot.

The ice cream itself was rich and flavorful. I had the coconut almond chunk which was reminiscent of an almond Joy candy bar.

You know I figure if I'm going to get fat I might as well do it with things that taste great. This is a...

If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. This was a sub par ice cream shop before covid, but the times we have been back since we have been treated very rudely by the young kids that work here. The business is very intense about social distancing and masking, which we’ve previously abided by, but it feels like you’re walking on egg shells the whole time you’re in the place. No friendly service here. Like others have mentioned in previous reviews, the workers are grumpy, snappy, and on their cell phones a lot. The last time I went in (after the TN governor lifted the state wide mandate) one of the girls working got intense about wearing a mask, and when we told her we didn’t have them due to the mandate being lifted, she told us we would have to buy one from them to be served ice cream. Let me be clear, ALL other establishments we’ve frequented in Chatt since the mandate was lifted have not forced masks, but left it optional to the customer’s discretion. If a private owned business has the right to refuse you service when the state you live in does not have a mask mandate, you should provide your customer with the face covering you are so worried about them wearing. We walked down to Ice Cream Show and got friendly customer service, and just as good ice cream. Won’t be frequenting...

I rarely do negative reviews, unfortunately with this one waited for an hour in line for their famous waffle cone at the Frazier Ave shop. We watched the workers put waffle cones they'd made when we first got in line into a bin and they started telling customers that they didn't have any left. I overheard one of the workers tell the other workers as long as the line was this long they weren't going to stop to make them anymore. Which is what most people in that long line were waiting on. They were out of a lot of flavors, and the ice cream is like ice cream you can get at any other ice cream shop. We sufficed with a sugar cones we could have gotten from the grocery store. We went to the Clumpies on Market Street the following day and enjoyed their shop much better. The staff was friendly and we were able to get waffle cones. They were also out of a lot of flavors as well but were much friendlier.

Drove up to Chat Town from Atl on a nice Saturday. My sons and I had a great time walking the area and decided on Clumpies for a sweet treat. Great location and good selection. I'm dairy-free and love sorbet, so their 5 different sorbet flavors work perfect for me. My sons both had a cookie dough milkshake, and 9 had a black cherry freeze. My only knock...the line was out the door, and they were way understaffed for a Saturday. It was just 2 employees working the counter. Really only 1 because the other had to keep the area stocked. Could have definitely used another pair of hands helping out. Other than that, we were totally satisfied customers. As long as you have patients, I would highly recommend stopping in.
