Hummus Bowl nails the art of bold, fresh Mediterranean flavors. I tried the chicken bowl, chicken wrap, falafel, and samosa—and honestly, every bite was a hit.

The chicken bowl is a standout: perfectly grilled chicken, juicy and well-seasoned, served over fluffy rice with a generous scoop of hummus, fresh veggies, and drizzled sauces that tie it all together beautifully. It’s hearty, healthy, and full of flavor.

The chicken wrap is just as satisfying—warm, soft pita stuffed with tender chicken, crisp greens, tangy pickles, and creamy garlic or tahini sauce (depending on what you choose). It’s wrapped tight and makes for a perfect grab-and-go option without sacrificing taste.

As for the sides, the falafel is crispy on the outside, soft and herby inside—freshly made and not at all dry, which is a big plus. And the samosa? Golden and crunchy, filled with a savory mix of spiced potatoes and peas. It adds a nice Indian twist to the Mediterranean spread.

Altogether, the meal feels vibrant, filling, and well-balanced. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something delicious, wholesome,...

Delicious, filling, fresh, authentic Mediterranean food with many vegan and gluten free options. I eat dairy & gluten free and was impressed by all the choices. We ordered two bowls, one with grilled beef strips and one with beef and lamb gyro. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Quantities were generous. The rice and tahini sauce were my favorite. They have an electronic ordering system which makes it easy to customize your order. Food came out pretty quickly and the staff are super friendly. We were very happy with our experience here. Forget about chipotle, cava, moe’s, or other chains and stop by hummus bowl instead! You won’t regret it.

One tip: if you want veggie sticks instead of pita with your bowl, you may have to add a note under “Special Instructions” when you order. I may have been doing it wrong but I didn’t see a place to choose if you want pita or veggies. They were really good! Super fresh celery and...

Everything about this place is just amazing. It's run by a husband and wife who it seems do everything together and definitely with love in this restaurant. The food is some of the greatest Mediterranean food in Chattanooga with great prices and a wonderful selection of dips, bowls, wraps, deserts, and beverages which range from regular sodas to classical Mediterranean teas. The service is great and the husband who runs the cash register is very polite and kind low interaction with people if you like that. Oh and the atmosphere which is very peacful and calm with lots of nice decorations. All in all this place is just wonderful for your taste buds, your stomach, and you mind. 10/10 would highly recommend especially for those who want to try new food and want to just support a local mom and pop shop. I wish them well and hope they have a...

Must-try Mediterranean restaurant in St. Elmo! ✨ Welcome to my new series: Where to get healthy food in Chattanooga 😋🥗 As someone who has many food restrictions due to chronic health issues, this is the series I wish I had when I first got diagnosed with mine. Starting off strong with… 📍The Hummus Bowl located in St. Elmo next to the Incline Railway 🥙 They serve personalized meals like bowls and wraps, along with juices from daily-prepared ingredients. It’s fast-casual dining with locally sourced, all-natural ingredients in a vibrant, plant filled environment! ✅ The entire menu is marked with dietary guidelines which is so helpful. You order from a digital kiosk and they bring it out to you or you can get it to-go. I got their hummus bowl with the falafel, basmati rice, tahini, cucumbers, pickles, and lettuce plus a side of fries bc i was craving them (all v/gf) — I could’ve gotten 2 meals out of it but it was so good I ate it all 🙈 The owners have an incredibly inspiring story, and they are super kind. They have been through so much in their life and you can tell they really care about their customers 🫶🏼 you can find their story on foodisaverb 🚗 Parking: this is a paid lot but FREE for customers so if you go inside they will give you a code 🧆 It’s similar to Cava - a little pricier, but LOCAL so highly recommend supporting them!!! Have you been here yet? If not, add it to your list 🙌🏼 #chattanooga #healthyfood #chattanoogatn #chattanoogafood #chattanoogaeats

We were passing through Chattanooga and searching for a restaurant in the vein of Chopt, Cava or Sweetgreen, and the Hummus Bowl popped up. **immediately pulls off interstate** This fast-casual Mediterranean spot in St. Elmo has the freshest ingredients, and using a touch screen, you can put together your own bowl, salad, or wrap with lamb, beef or chicken gyros, falafel and more. Service is speedy, and the owners are incredibly kind. The entire interior is decked out in live greenery, and it’s just a pleasant spot to wait out the horrendous Chattanooga traffic. There are also specialty house-made hummus like jalapeños cilantro and red pepper hummus. Needless to say, this delightful spot (right next to Incline Railway FWIW) is going on our regular rotation.
