My boyfriend picked this restaurant as a surprise for our one year anniversary. When we first pulled up I was surprised by his choice. It's a small eclectic looking building with a purple roof. However, I knew he must have picked it for a reason. There was seating available inside and outside the restaurant. You pick your own seating and we chose a back booth. The decorations are very eclectic and super fun, in my opinion. When I saw the menu I finally realized why he picked this restaurant, they won an award for banana pudding in 2015. I love banana pudding! We were both hopeful it still was worthy of the award title. My boyfriend ordered a burger and chips, I ordered a barbeque plate with coleslaw and potato salad, and we got a banana pudding to share. We had the banana pudding brought out first and it was AMAZING! It was extremely creamy, had a good flavor, and was very decadent. My boyfriend said it was the best banana pudding he has ever had in a restaurant. Absolutely still worthy of the award title! My boyfriend said his burger was average, nothing too special. I thought my food was quite tasty and I enjoyed the sweet barbeque sauce they offered at the table. My boyfriend was given a pickle spear on his plate which he let me eat. The waitress heard me saying how the pickle spear was one of the best I have had and she brought me out two more. The staff here were attentive, friendly, and so kind! Honestly the staff made the experience that much better. I would visit this restaurant again for the staff and the banana pudding :)

I have to be honest, we were so disappointed. The staff was less than friendly and treated us as though they couldn't be bothered with us. The food wasn't very flavorful, options minimal (no beef?!- of you are going to do one thing, do it excellent) it really tasted like the meat was re-heated and not fresh or juicy but cold and microwaved. The kitchen staff was loud and obnoxiously flirted with the blonde moody waitress. Every time the phone rang for a take out we heard staff say "noooo!". And don't waste your money on the bread pudding that won best of like 4 or 5 years ago, I took 2 bites and tossed it. We were freezing in the dinming room, the chairs were terribly uncomfortable... however the hashbrown casserole was decent l. Not sure what's going on here but either you need new staff or the owners need to get back in touch with their passion. The icing on the cake? Our $$$ bill for a terrible experience and disgusting food.

Hands down my favorite place for a southern meal. Purple Daisy definitely took me back to summer days at my Granny's house! The food was AMAZING! I 100% reccomend the rainbow sandwich which is a layered sandwich with 3 slices of bread, 1 layer of chicken salad, 1 layer of pimento cheese and 1 layer of cucumber spread. The crust is removed and the sandwich is cut into four and served with a pickle and chips. The Banana pudding is also one of the best Banana puddings I have ever had. I tried to get the recipe out of them but had no luck! The atmosphere is cute especially in the main area, however it could use a little TLC. Our server in particular let the other waitresses carry her weight while she was on the phone and in the parking lot. While the other waitresses were great she was not. We had to ask the other waitresses for refills and to take our dessert orders. There are many kid friendly options on the menu!

Small, but cute restaurant. Located just across from the parking lot of the incline train. We walked up with a party of 13. The server had no problem putting us together outside (which was best since we had 8 kids)! Small menu, but delicious food. Their BBQ sauce is fantastic! Food came out fast, service was great, prices are great! I ordered their special (smoked wings) and they were very good topped with their hot BBQ sauce and also the sweet sauce. I also ordered their hashbrown casserole as a side. It was great, but it does have jalapeños and a bit of a kick. The baked beans are loaded with onions. My sister tried the tomato soup and loved it, it seemed creamy and not as strong of a tomato taste. Photos are the smoked wings, hash brown casserole, hot dog, and tomato soup. Great place to eat!

We enjoyed our lunch at The Purple Daisy. The service was quick, we got there right at opening on a Monday, and were able to seat ourselves immediately. The servers all helped each other out and were quick to ask if we wanted refills. They were accommodating for our kid who wanted a chili dog which wasn’t on the menu. The hashbrown casserole is the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were a dry rub and good, but better with their sweet sauce. They don’t offer French fries which is a bit odd, but not a deal breaker. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. We will definitely be back in future trips to Chatt!

Cute purple building, you can’t miss it . We ordered smoked wings they had great Smokey flavor and sauce was tasty, skin was a little rubbery though. I ordered 3 rib combo with chicken beans and potato salad. The ribs were tender and good but could use more seasoning, the potato salad needed more seasoning as well , the beans were sweet and savory and yummy over all it was good, I would eat here again if ever back in Chattanooga.
