Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

I have been eating at this Chick-fil-A usually at least a half dozen times a week since it opened in August. It's convenient to my business just down the street. Food is fairly consistent with other Chick-fil-A, although their breakfast sandwiches seem to differ slightly and I've had two separate sausages with grit or rock mixed in, one I think was the cause of a cracked filling. The service is slower here compared to the other local Chick-fil-A's - The best local are Centerton and Delran, followed by East Gate. The workers at this location just move a whole lot slower than at the others. They also aren't concentrating and consistently have to be reminded about things . My biggest gripe is the layout of the place - they have this large high table right next to the registers. From what I can tell it's primary function is a hang out for workers, who always seem to be on break at this location. It's wonderful to be standing in line with either one or no people at the register and a table full of employees on their phones - real bad optics. I also can count five times that I have been in line behind an employee getting their meals - in a store open since August, My count is zero for all the other local stores over many years. There seems to be always more employees on break at this location then actually working? That table was a stupid idea. I've leaned on it while waiting for my food and gotten nasty looks for disturbing the employees on their phone time. I would suggest that they get the female morning manager from the Centerton location over there for a week or two to show this location how to hustle and put the FAST back in fast food. Also get rid of that table or tell the employees to take their break in a corner booth or something out of eyesight of waiting...

This might not be a fair review as I did not purchase anything but did want to draw attention to a possible problem that others might have. I have not been a fan of fast food since I was a kid other than a new chicken place that I do like. So I do not frequent fast food other than when I am driving a school bus full of kids from an athletic event and they stop for a meal on the way home. This was my first visit to this Chick-fil-A and hopefully my last with a bus anyway as their parking lots just like 75% of the other Chick-fil-As have really poor parking lots when it comes to parking a school bus. At least it is not as bad as it was a few years ago at several of them when they erected a big drive-thru tent sort of thing that really made it difficult to bring a busload, but fortunately I have not seen that problem at any of them recently. If I had a choice I would go up to the other chicken place further west on route 70 as they are right by a shopping center but I could not get them convinced to go there so we came here. I went to a different Chick-fil-A a couple nights ago with a busload and there was very few people there at the time making it rather easy to bring the bus in so I actually did order some food and it was good although not much because I had dinner at home...

I go to this chick fil a often for lunch since it's nearby. Unfortunately, they've gotten my order incorrect four times now- twice inside the restaurant and twice while using drive thru. Needless to say, the drive thru ones are the worse because I get home expecting to enjoy my lunch but instead I'm disappointed. The first time they forgot an item. I called and was told to leave my name and that I would get that item free next time (not really free since I've already paid for it). The second time they gave me an incorrect item. I ordered the deluxe chick fil a sandwich and got the regular. I called and was told to leave my number and someone would call me back to rectify the situation. I was put on a "brief" hold. Over 10min later and still no one got back to me. They need more people working there, especially during busy times like lunch time, and train their staff better. I think from now on I'll have to delay the take out line to thoroughly check my order before leaving.

Edit: someone did call me back to rectify the situation. She said they'll send me some coupons in the mail....
