This is now the only Chipotle that will be getting my money. I’m currently living in the Camden area, and the two closest Chipotle’s to me are the Bellmawr and Deptford locations, both of which close at 11. I work in fast food so I felt guilty grabbing a meal an hour before close, but my craving for Chipotle was through the roof tonight. I first went to the Deptford location around 10:15 which was my first mistake because they typically are out of things and the lady at the counter always has an attitude towards close. I left the first location after they did not have the Al Pastor. I then left and called the Bellmawr location hoping to find out what they were out of to save myself the trip but they didn’t answer so I tried my luck. As I entered the Bellmawr location around 10:25 I was kindly greeted my a guy at the counter who informed me they were out of pico, corn, and guac, to which i responded by simply turning around and getting back into my car, for the third and final location. I quickly got to the Cherry Hill location, at around 10:40, and the first thing I asked was if they were out of anything, to which the kind young lady at the counter said they had everything but pinto beans (i could not be happier). I thanked her, and explained that I had just visited two other Chipotles that were out of many ingredients. I apologized for coming in 20 minutes before close, but she was very understanding, and simply let me know it was okay. I ordered my food, and we chatted the whole time about my prior experiences that night. She never treated me as an inconvenience, and taught me a few things about customer service that I hope to apply in my current career. She was amazing, and this Chipotle was well prepared. I wish I asked for her name so I could specifically shout her out ( the only thing I know is that she’s young, and bilingual, spanish being her other language) , but knowing she’s out there will just have to be enough. I tipped her the cash I had on me and had a great...
Read moreDo not order from this chipotle unless you like waiting over an hour for your food. I am not sure why they decided to change their ordering system but let me just tell you it DOES NOT WORK. They only take online/mobile pick up orders and you can no longer order in person. I don’t mind this however every single time I go to pick up my order they are 30-40 minutes behind. Also not to mention they no longer place to go orders on the rack where you can just grab and go. Instead they place them either behind the counter which is impossible to see your name or you have to wait to hear your name called. The last time i was there so many people were waiting i missed my name called and proceeded to wait thinking my order wasn’t ready. In fact it was just sitting behind the counter where you cant see. Unbelievable.
The staff also could care less they have 20+ people waiting in line. They come across very over worked, disorganized, and rude. My other gripe with this location is MULTIPLE times I’ve placed an online order and gotten to the store where a worker tells me they closed early and I have to file a refund request through chipotle customer service. Also like many other reviews say all that waiting for literally no food. Save your money and go to the chipotle...
Read moreThe worst chipotle I have ever been to. I have been eating at chipotle for over 15 years. Tried to walk in to this location around 11AM. The front door was locked, side door was open so I went in that, figured they maybe forgot to unlock the front seeing that the kitchen was full and people were inside. I was greeted by someone giving me an attitude saying "if the front door is locked, we're not open." They were supposed to open 10 minutes ago!
I brushed this off, and politely asked when they think they would be ready, literally everyone in the kitchen, maybe 5+ people including the one who spoke to me, ignored me. Not a single person, and I know they heard me because a few people looked around at each other like they were waiting for someone else to answer me. What a joke, not to mention the other few times I have been here they give you laughable portions and one time even refused to serve me and told me they "are only fulfilling online orders today."
I have been eating at chipotle since I was in college over 15 years ago and this was the last straw, I am not going to eat at a chipotle ever again.
It's a shame what this company is doing to a once great place to get affordable healthy food. 20 dollars for a burrito bowl that is half-way...
