We went on what I believe was their 6th day open. It was raining outside, so we hurried to get into the first set of doors. There was one customer on his phone, so I continued forward. Upon opening the second set of doors to get into the restaurant I was quickly (and rather rudely) advised that they were at capacity, and we would have to wait. I do understand food service and grand openings, what I did not understand was the tone at which customers were being talked to by one specific employee (I wish I got his name). As we waited, the area between doors started to fill. I kept a mental log of the person who was there before us, to be sure they got to enter first. When capacity allowed, the door was opened and we were told to get in. I signaled that the one gentleman was to go in first, and we moved so he could get through. The employee at the door quickly and abruptly told us to hurry up and get in. He didn't care about order, just that he "was not paid enough to get yelled at" (no one was yelling at him). We filed into the line, got our order in, then waited at the table to hear our name called to pick up the order. Though there appeared to be a working PA system, names were instead SCREAMED out as orders became ready. It was a bit jarring and took away from the experience. The food was ultimately good: fresh slaw, crispy chicken, well-seasoned fries...but the star of the show was their bread. Next time we go, I will certainly be checking to see if you can buy a bag of the bread. All-in-all I'm hopeful they will get the service kinks smoothed out, as it is a prime spot for grabbing a meal before or after shopping. Will wait a bit and try again (or see if we have better luck in...
Read moreYALL THIS IS BASIC AT HOME FOOD ! **Be prepared to be SHOUTED AT WHEN YOU WALK IN ! (That’ll change in a few months as the millennials get tired of it and greet folks as they walk to the counter, instead.)
Very overrated. This location has so much staff. You get the vibe they are Uncomfortable and restricted with movement standing shoulder to shoulder . Great first impression I guess(fully staffed) .
Food was basic (AF!) which you can make this at home - no flavor. Juicy but no specific flavors. I expected something to be on the menu to give it “FLARE” (like a wrap or spicy variant.) That doesn’t exist here! Not even salads. Food comes in a take home platter as if you just came from a barbecue/ block Party This is better then McDonalds and QUICKER THEN CHIC-fil-A .
Seating booths are uncomfortably tight for anyone over 120lbs. Anyone with Bad knees ,Older folks & heavy weights or TALL folks are forced to play musical chairs for comfortable seating .
Staff seemed very concerned multiple asking “how it’s everything so far ?”. That’s good . A staff member even threw my trash away (thumbs up)! Management even walked around asking customers how’re things.
Honest review just over rated. When chic-fil- is down the highway… I guess if you want “Chicken tenders /fingers “ ONLY come here for juicy chicken and...
Read moreI would more accurately rate this spot a 3.5 stars for FOOD. While the food was flavorful and tasty it was lacking in size. It didn't really hit me until I snapped a picture of the chicken finger next to a Louisiana hot sauce packet for reference, and it was barely much bigger. I felt cheated. Since when were chicken fingers so small! Other than that, service was a 5 and atmosphere was a 5 and well deserved. They were extremely friendly and even checked in with me on the floor to ask how everything was, and the staff removed my trash for me and I was impressed by that. Their drive through is set up almost exactly like a Chick-fil-A which seems to work out really well. They don't have much a diverse menu aside from the chicken tenders and fries, they only have a chicken sandwich which comes with lettuce no option for any other toppings such as onions or tomatoes but what they have seems to be decent (Portion size aside) Overall, I would come back but let's just say I had higher expectations and I won't be bragging about Canes anytime soon....
