Hardee's — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Older lady working was great. Young guy who think was in a management roll was not. Did not greet you, I had to ask if he was ready to take my order and he gave said "yeah" snidely and made a face. He was drinking out of a bottle while at the register, touched the mop bucket and then handled customers food (including scooping up fries) then bagged food all without washing hands. I looked at the counters, floor, area where food is passed up front from the kitchen, it was ALL dirty! Looked at the equipment where fans intake air and they where all packed with dust. Now for the food. Fries were the last bit sitting there and they were cold and soggy. Burger, the grease was soaking thru the package. Most recent visit in December 2023 was very good. All of the food was fresh. We had to wait a few minutes (pulled up) but it was worth the wait. Much better than prior visits!

My original review from June 2023: This review is based on several experiences at this location over the past few months (summer 2023). The food is not fresh. The biscuits are not as good as they were a few years ago. The hashbrowns have a bad after taste (like funky old oil). I was just there this morning and it was busy, but somehow the biscuits were old/dry and the hashbrowns were hard as hockey pucks.

Save yourself from wasting money and go to a different hardees if you want their breakfast. This...

|| UPDATE TONIGHT ANDREA WAS A RUDE EXPERIENCE, NO LINE AND WAITED 5 MINUTES AT THE DRIVE THROUGH, I LEFT WENDYS BECAUSE THEIR LINE WAS LONG LOL AND CAME HERE INSTEAD. I was looking forward to visiting here because the service is usually way better thank Chick-fil-A.
