Tossed and Sauced — Restaurant in Chesapeake

From the start of the night things were not good. We order two waters and two Coronas with lime. When the bartender went for the limes it was covered in fruit flies. The bad part is the bartender seen them and proceeded to still try to give the limes to us, until we said something. So after se said something she gave us two new Coronas.

So they removed the fruit tray but the flies were still there, so we switched sears. Moving from the bar to a booth we hoped things would be better. One of the fruit flies did follow us to the booth, but we waved it off and were fine.

At this point we have been waiting for our food for about 20 mins now. We order burger, fries and wings. Our waitress came over to let us know that the food will not be that much longer. We continued to wait another 20 mins. So at this point we are ready to go because we were the only customers in the restaurant.

We took the food to go. Hopefully the taste will be better than...

Horribly disappointed on several occasions. We have had 2 grub hub orders cancelled after 40 minutes, last “to go” order was over $70 in food and boneless wings were bone in and the wrong sauce. Tonight, we tried to give them one more shot. The phone rang busy for over on hour (clearly purposely placed off the hook). Since it was Friday night, I drove up there and sat at the bar to order food to go. The place was MODERATELY busy. After 10 minutes, A young lady asked me if I was helped and I replied no but I had an order to place “to go” and asked her why the phone was off the hook for over an hour. She replied they had “30 to go orders” and instead of asking if I needed a drink or anything, she walked away. A man walked in and sat at the bar, three seats down. She came back and greeted him and gave him a beer...never asked for my order. Decided to leave and will NEVER BE BACK. How embarrassing for a local business to portray customer...

I'm not a gigantic pizza eater and I prefer a thinner crust but my son and my husband are crazy about this place. My son visits so often that the waitresses know him by name. Hi however enjoy the Korean steak bites they are my favorite. They also have a homemade ranch sauce there that I would put up against any other sauce at any other restaurant. The wait staff is hit or miss because most of them are very young and I believe most likely depend on that youth and beauty for tips and not their experience as a waitress. This being said most of them are very charming and and lovely. My husband my son and I will continue to keep coming back because the food most of the time is amazing.
