Update: The night manager here is awful. My co-worker called to complain about two out of three orders being incorrect and he argued with her about it and asked about our receipts because "a lot of people keep calling and lying about things being wrong". Only one of our bags even had a receipt in it but if that many people are complaining then you should consider that things aren't being made well.
We (as an entire workplace), rarely go to Wendy's anymore because of the lack of accuracy and when we do go there is always something wrong, every time. Speaking in terms of probability, the same people wouldn't have something wrong, every single time they visit, unless there is a lack of trying to do a good job, to start with.
It's not like our orders are complicated--plain burgers and chili, add cheese. I used to ask for only ketchup but that posed such a problem I switched to asking for plain. Apparently it doesn't matter what I say because I'm going to get whatever they put on it. As for the chili, when you get charged for cheese there better be cheese.
Somebody in charge better start taking these negative reviews to heart because this place is losing a lot of business due to the lack of customer service and the attitude from managers.
Original (October 2018): This place used to be my favorite go-to for food before going into work midnight shift because it's close to home. but the late night quality has gone way downhill. The wait is ridiculous, based on the food you get. While waiting, they say it's because your food is being prepared fresh but it's not. It's constantly cold and prepared incorrectly.
I ask for only ketchup on my sandwiches and end up with the other toppings scraped off and a tsunami of extra ketchup being poured on top, to cover it up. I have allergies and intolerances so I'm forced to throw the sandwich away after realizing it but by the time I do, my tongue is usually swollen. Huge waste of money and loads of discomfort.
After 10pm, the fries I get are old and only slightly warm. I've also gotten random chunks of chicken tenders thrown in, in place of nuggets. Yes, tenders are technically a step up from nuggets but I'd rather have fresh nuggets when the tenders are old and cold.
It's always well before closing when I visit but the employees act like it's a huge inconvenience to them. I've worked in fast food. It's not that hard to cook to order, after a certain hour. It's also not that hard to be polite or even friendly to customers,...
Read moreThe SLOWEST DRIVE THRU SERVICE EVER..8 TIMES NOW. I have given them and it's the same each time. Who has 20 minutes to wait at drive thru with only 2 cars ahead! I have to add to this one, when I finally got up to the drive thru, she gave me my change back it was 4cents short. I asked her how much was my order? She replied, "oh, I don't have any pennies". So, I said well then either cancel my order or give me a nickel because as the customer, I'm not taking a 4cent loss so u can save 1cent. So, she left and came back with rolls of pennies. Never apologizing for the ridiculous long wait or trying to short me without even telling me. I don't like to complain, I prefer to give positive feedback but, this particular Wendy's is the worst ran business. It's happened enough now that I have summarized that it's not simply a improperly trained new employee. I watch people pull out of line on each occasion due to the long wait time even when there is only 2 cars ahead. No doubt it's in a good location and could be booming with business but, late afternoon, early evening and late night is poorly ran. To be fair, I don't know if morning and lunch time has same issues. The fixes would be so simple. Like properly trained employees, a manager on duty who cares about customer service and drive thru able to take orders in a timely manner. They take one order, wait to fill that cars order, then take the next car. So the cook can't even start your order, nor the person bagging your order because, you can't even place your order once you finally make it to the ordering box, you are told to wait. So, you wait another 3 to 4 minutes. This particular location could be improved with a manager that cared about customer satisfaction. The changes needed are blatantly obvious and simple enough that I can't understand why it hasn't been taken care of as of yet. I do understand that any business can be short staffed or occasionally have an employee not up to par nonetheless, this is an ongoing long term issue at this paticular store. Sad because it's easy to get to and in a prime location on a heavily traveled main highway with little competition and undoubtedly could generate a substantial steady influx of satisfied customers and revenue for the business. The POTENTIAL for this store is GREAT. The demise is also just as likely because of aforementioned...
Read moreYesterday at 6PMish, I had one of the worst experiences at any fast-food restaurant. It started with a 50-minute wait in the drive-thru. When I finally got my order, it was completely wrong. Frustrated, I went inside to get it fixed, only to wait an additional 30 minutes.
The guy making the sandwiches was wiping sweat from his forehead with his gloved hand and then using the same hand to handle lettuce, pickles, and onions, contaminating the food with his sweat. Multiple workers were on their cell phones, not assisting their colleagues, and some had headphones in, which they repeatedly had to remove to talk and then put back on.
I also saw a Dasher spill two drinks because the lids were put on incorrectly. The use of profanity was rampant, which I personally don’t mind, but there were children present. The workers ignored me until I had to forcefully get someone's attention. When I did, she acted like I was a major inconvenience, rudely took my bag, and said she’d be back.
The restaurant itself was filthy, with trash and drink spills everywhere. Several people behind me were also holding Wendy’s bags, likely because their orders were wrong too. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I finally left and canceled the charge with my bank.
This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a fast-food restaurant. This Wendy’s location is extremely slow, dirty, unprofessional, and incompetent. Avoid it at all costs.
If the GM sees this, please address these and other similar reviews about this location and take action. Spending $15 for a meal at Wendy's is already ridiculous, but being treated poorly after waiting over an hour for 'fast food' is unacceptable.
I apologize for the wall of text, but hopefully I can save someone from having a similar experience and avoiding possible food poisoning from...
