If you have hard to shop for men in your life or any whiskey lovers the barrel experience is the best gift to give! I took my boyfriend last weekend for his birthday and we had an absolute blast! Stephen and Denise were the most gracious hosts and have created such a hidden gem of a business in the STL area. I’ve truly never seen anything like it. And the ladies or cocktail lovers shouldn’t be hesitant because they have one of the best cocktail menus around! We haven’t stopped talking about our experience here and absolutely will be back and bring more people with us!! The Barrel House is an absolute gem in Ellisville! The owners are amazing—so welcoming and clearly passionate about what they’ve created. The ambiance and décor are spot on: cozy, stylish, and the perfect mix of local charm with a modern touch.

The apps were fantastic, and you can tell they put thought into their menu. Everything tasted fresh, and I love that they source locally—it makes a huge difference in quality and flavor. Plus, the locally inspired merch is such a cool touch; you can literally take a piece of the experience home with you.

Overall, it was an awesome experience from start to finish. Definitely one of those places you can’t wait to come back to again and again....
