Crazy Bowls & Wraps — Restaurant in Chesterfield

This place was an absolute rip-off. The food was average at best, and the menu is super confusing and management was horrible. The manager asked if I wanted chicken with my bowl. The menu didn’t indicate there would an additional charge, so I said yes. When I got the receipt (which I didn’t even get asked if I wanted it, I had to take it off the printer myself), I got charged an additional $1.50 (2x) for the chicken. I questioned the manager about the additional charge, all she did was point to tiny sign by the register that said that chicken was an additional $1.50. She also pointed that the small print on menu next to the bowl (This is usually where restaurants just put the condiments) mentions double protein. Technically she didn’t do anything wrong, it’s just common courtesy to let customers know that what they offer you is going to be an additional charge and point out that there is more to it than just the menu. The manager on duty named Jonathan refused to give me the phone number to a district manager when I asked to speak with someone above him to request my W-2 form. I was previously employed here. I had already called the number to the office he had given me and emailed them -I got no response. With filing deadlines coming up, you can see how this is an issue for me. He didn’t offer me any other solutions and said that if I still had my information to log into my pay app, that it would be “less stressful for them”- insinuating it was my fault for not still having those records from over a year ago. Luckily I was able to call another location and speak to a district manager who immediately solved my problem. (Thank you Charlie!) I just called the store at 8:20 PM and asked them for the Family taco kit for pick up. The guy told me I could not order it because it was for catering and I just said OK and got off and I looked at their menu again and I said after calling back, this is for a family. It’s not under the catering menu and then he’s like oh yeah well we close at nine and it would probably take us like from now until then to make it so I’m probably not gonna do it.
