Five Below — Local services in Chesterfield

Great store, but the reason for making this post is we had an incident here. There was a very rude lady in front of us that the young kid shorted her 5 dollars (simple mistake) he was very kind and apologetic towards her and she was rude in return. He was going to give her a gift card because his manager was on break and couldn’t open the drawer for him. She demanded he give her cash back and making him dig in the trash for her receipt that she earlier stated she didn’t want. You could tell the kid was nervous/ shaken up by the situation. After receiving her 5 dollars she then proceeded to find the manager (for what reason idk because he took care of the situation) So we stepped in and stuck up for him. It is very hard to find good workers, people need to respect others and appreciate good customer service because it is hard to come by....

I have changed my review base on the nasty interactions with the guy who was wearing glasses that try to make my son pay taxes for a even exchange on the same priced items. The women Manger upheld the nonsense of her flamboyant employee. These folks should not speak to a child and behave in a manner were a personal feels uncomfortable and doesn't want to return to your location. I'm so disappointed in the level of customer service at this location. I will shop at ballwin wear they treat there customers...
