Absolutely appalling experience. Came here to celebrate with a group of 20 family members and a couple business associates, expecting a pleasant evening, only to be met with an absolutely absurd display of control and incompetence by the bartender. Over the course of four hours, none of us had more than three drinks. Yes, three drinks total the entire time there in 4 hours. But the bartender seemed to be on a relentless power trip from the moment we arrived.
Here’s the timeline of absurdity: After our game, 12 of us drinking ordered a round of 6-7 drinks. Not everyone in the group participated, so a few people ordered a second round 15-20 minutes later. To our shock, the bartender cut us all off—yes, an entire group—after just two drinks. He announced, with an air of superiority, that we’d have to wait an hour before ordering anything else, citing some nonsensical policy about a two-drink limit. Note we displayed no signs of intoxication and were very polite as after these drinks none of us had over 3 drinks in total in 4 hours.
This was not only embarrassing but outright ludicrous. As someone who has owned bars, I can confidently say I’ve never encountered a policy as nonsensical as this. Naturally, we asked to speak to a manager to confirm this so-called policy. The bartender, dripping with sarcasm, seemed to dismiss our request, saying they’d just “confirm what I said.” He didn’t even confirm he’d summon them, leaving us to wait in limbo for 5–10 minutes. By the time management finally arrived, we had already decided to leave and were heading out due to the sheer humiliation of the situation.
When finally spoke to the managers on everyone’s behalf, they confirmed that the bartender’s actions were completely unfounded. They explained the actual policy: a manager evaluates whether someone can have a third drink. Fair enough—I understand the importance of ensuring no one is overserved. However, they also confirmed we were perfectly sober and fine to order another drink, which made the bartender’s overreach even more baffling. Management apologized and assured us they’d address the situation ‘immediately’ with the bartender.
But here’s the kicker: the group observed the bartender for over 30 minutes after our conversation with management, and no one from management so much as approached him. So much for taking the issue seriously. It was clear they were just placating us, and any semblance of professionalism ended the moment we walked out the door. Note there were multiple other issues with bartender noted by others prior to this that I’m not wasting anymore of my precious time getting into.
The hypocrisy here is staggering. Two drinks is apparently a hard limit—unless, of course, you’re buying a bucket of beers, which raises no red flags whatsoever and happily serve you multiple buckets an hour. This kind of inconsistency is not just frustrating; it’s downright insulting.
Unless you want a two drink limit based on a 22 year old bartenders judgement (which was obviously inaccurate, management’s words not mine), I’d go somewhere else for any business gatherings or celebrations. This place is ridiculously overpriced for these hassles and embarrassment.
As someone who has planned business gatherings and celebrations here in the past, participated and substitute in leagues, I can confidently say I will never return after this humiliating experience in front of family, associates, and all other guests sitting in bar area. The bartender’s behavior—coupled with management’s apparent lack of follow-through—was humiliating for us all, many of whom traveled from out of town on my recommendation. This place has gone...
Read moreWe sat on the outdoor patio upstairs and were originally told we would have to order at the bar and pickup food at the bar. That’s was chill no issues there. Then they started bringing our food to us. Even better. But it was so insanely unorganized the food runners just walked to the patio and called out the food and waited for someone to wave their hand so they knew where to bring the food. Let’s just implement a buzzer system like a standard venue with half a brain running it. Then we were ready to order our dinner we went up to the bar. It. Took. Fifteen. Minutes. For. Someone. To. Take. Our. Order. Like are we serious. We stood there and waited. And then things just went downhill from. Finally got our food order. Halfway through eating our bay that we had to wait an hour for was ready. Idc about the wait that doesn’t bother me. What’s annoying is the timing would have worked out had I not had to sit at the bar for 15 minutes. So we eat and the bay is ready and they will only hold it 5 minutes. I get it if people leave you don’t want to wait long for them. So we are told to close out our tabs upstairs before heading down. SHOULDNT BE AN ISSUE. But it took 10 minutes to close the tab. Luckily we had some people in our group go and hold down the bay before we got there but by the time we get to our bay 5 minutes is already gone off the time we paid for to golf because you guys can’t figure out a better way to manage a mediocrely busy bar on a Tuesday evening. So we play golf and drink, our server comes by 2 times, one to get orders, one to drop off drinks. Then with 15 minutes left in our 1.5 hr golf game she comes back and asked if we want more drinks, the ladies in our group say no and she proceeds to call both of them light weights. Are we serious. Trying to milk a bigger tab and then sure maybe a joke but calling two members of our group light weights because they don’t want to have a drink with 15 minutes left in our golf time? Lastly she drops off the check to which I make sure I can pay cash with because I had cash that day and she check every minute or two minutes to pickup the check even while I’m mid golf swing to try and get paid when I repeatedly said I will handle it when we are done golfing. Just bad experience honestly. Normally it’s decent but we had friends in town and decided to take them here and that was just a mistake. Won’t be recommending to take out of town...
Read moreJust me and a buddy had a 2 hour slot at 115pm on a sunday for his birthday which he scheduled online. We showed up and hung around a bit before because they text you about 10 to 15 minutes before your bay is open.
You can bring your own clubs or use theirs. If your a right handed player all the clubs are at each bay.If your left handed they will give you a bag with a variety of 6 clubs that you take with you and return back.
The location is easy to get to and the staff was very helpful. A women named Stevie came over and chatted with us about a few of her favorite games and gave us tips on how to use the whole touch screen system. You can order food and drinks at your bay or there is a restaurant inside that serves the same stuff. We ordered the pretzel bites which came with 2 different sauces, and all tastes pretty good and were just enough to get through the 2 your slot with a drink. There's a wide variety of games to choose from Aiming type with closest to the pin..chipping it to random colored spots on the ground. long distance, a few virtual courses from around the world and some
There's a few type of angry birds type knock things down with your golf ball they you shoot just randomly, and the screen shows it's knocking things over.
The heaters were nice and it was plenty comfortable today with it being about 35 degrees out.
They have 3 levels of play but we were on the 2nd level and it was nice and every bay looked to have a nice view.
We had 1 server that helped us the whole time and guided us right when we got to our bay and he took our food and drinks order the whole time. Ten minutes before our time is up he let us know and asked if we wanted more time..and if not that when we paid the bill.
The whole location is very nice with some great seating and plenty of space for larger groups.
With just 2 people is was great we went through many of the games in the 2 hour spot
This seems like a really nice place to hang for a good 4 hours in a group so you each get ample time to try your hand at the many games.
The ball feed system works great and all the TV or led screens you need to see are easily viewed spots.
This location sits where the old hardees iceplex was and I'v played hockey in this spot many times in the past and it means a little more to me to play some golf here and understand what once stood here and still have...
