We were staying at a local campground and didn't want to get out because we have two young kids. First of all, no one called us to let us know that we would have to meet them outside of the campground because it was dark BEFORE they made our order. That was kind of odd when we receive a phone call to meet at the visitor's center. We complied since it was already made. Once we got the pizza back to our RV, we opened it up to realize not one, but both pizzas were made wrong and very cold. When I went to Domino's so called "guarantee", I was lead to a page that would only make up for one pizza being wrong. I proceeded to call the store and was first put on an long wait for a manager. Once she came back to the phone, I was asked to bring the pizzas back in that are "in question ". I was appalled. One, I did NOT come in to get them in the first place for a reason. Two, I have two young children that were already eating what they didn't want because it was late and they needed to get into bed. I was told that I would need to send in pictures of PROOF of the wrong order since I told her there was still quite a bit left, but not all of it. I could not believe this . I have NEVER experienced this from ANY OTHER Domino's when we have had an issue. The woman on the phone had a head-shaking attitude and was by NO MEANS accommodating for any reason other than telling me VERY IMPATIENTLY they would need to remake the whole order. By this time I was completely upset and did not understand why they would need to remake the WHOLE order. I felt this was a way to just get me to shut up. Well, it worked AND I was HUNG UP ON. We weren't looking for free everything, just expected to have a AT LEAST a credit for just the TWO pizzas...which mind you was in a meal deal with FIVE things for $19.99, so this is $8 we are talking about. Absolutely RUDE and will NEVER order...
Read moreIf you love dominos take the time to go to another location, even if you are in this one's delivery area. For delivery they are regularly later than what they say (sometimes 20 or 30 minutes late) when we get delivered to our house (which, granted, is 10 minutes away) and the pizza is likely to be cold. When you speak to the store in person or on the phone whomever you get is the "manager" and they work hard to make you feel like it's your fault.
For a recent special occasion we were 2 minutes from the store, so tried yet again with an pre-order. We confirmed the time or the order and importance of it being on-time the previous day (getting an annoyed worker named Joe telling us it wouldn't be a problem and would be on time). After the pizza was 15 minutes late, we called and they tried to convince us we had requested the wrong time no less than 3 times on one phone call.
When the pizza finally arrived it was cold and had the original requested time printed clearly on the box. When confronted with this new information later that day a manager named "Matt" listened to the story only to be interrupted by the manager "Joe" who suddenly had a new reason why I was wrong (I didn't hear him correct the time apparently)
All conversations were treated as if we did something wrong or were annoying them in some way. So I guess my advice would be if you do order from this location and there is an issue don't both discussing it because...
Read moreHad a birthday party today and we ordered Domino's pizza from the location on Long Road in Chesterfield. First of all, tried to call and order pizza so we could use a gift card. Could not get anyone to answer. Went online and ordered pizza....could not pay with gift card. So driver shows up at location, says the pizza's still need to be paid for. He told me I needed to call the store to pay for the pizza and that it would take about 2 minutes because of the phone system they have. I call...am on hold...I told him I was still waiting for someone to answer. He tells me I have 1 minute or he was going to return the order back to the store. (Should have just said cool...take it back and forget about it) As I was telling him that I was still waiting for them to answer, the phone picks up and disconnects me. So aggregated, I followed him to the store so I could pay for the pizza. He took the delivery charge off...which is good. Proceeds to tell me how the new franchise owners could care less about the issues they are having with their ordering system. If your customer service sucks...then your customer service sucks. The whole experience sucked. Should have just paid the extra for East Coast Pizza. They even shorted our order....
