McDonald’s on 110 Long Rd., Chesterfield, MO has fallen off a cliff recently. The last two times I’ve come in at 11:50 or before, they have told me they’re closed or have made me wait 10 minutes and not said anything on the intercom, and then shut off the lights in my face, which is extremely rude. Today was the last straw, though. I came in first at 11:49, a lady on the intercom told me they were closed. I knew this was a lie, l an act of pure laziness, so I ordered online through the app. I then pulled up around 11:55, and she made me wait outside and shut off the menu lights. I had spent $20, so I went up to the window and showed my phone that had ordered online. She then opened the window and said, “No, we’re closed. We do not receive your order,” which is a lie. She then proceeded to lie again, saying she cannot cancel my order or refund me, which is a lie. At this point, I was getting kind of mad, but this really sent me over the edge. She proceeded to contradict herself. She told me she could not make my online order because they have to close five minutes before 12, so 11:55. This would be extremely odd because why wouldn’t you just close at 11:55 then? This is also just a pure lie and active laziness because I pulled in at 11:49, and she told me she was closed. The girl was short and had black hair. Something needs to be done about this. It’s unacceptable. I still need to receive my $20 back because I did not receive my food. I was not given a way by the restaurant to get a refund either. She told me to cancel on the app, but it would not let me because it said the order was ready. I showed her the app asking how can I get a refund and she said she didn’t have the order, so I then asked for her name and she didn’t not give it to me. Read moreLousy experience ordering on the app. Chose come inside to pick up. Doors locked and gate closed. Had to holler to get staff attention. Got crabby rude response. I asked why they wouldn’t change it to drive thru and was told that can’t. I know other stores have been set up drive thru only. Not only rude but one of the sandwiches was made with the wrong condiments and even the sticker confirmed it was wrong. When I went back in to get it corrected the same staff was even more rude and told me I didn’t order it like that. I said, look at the sticker which she didn’t have a reply for because she was wrong. I left without my food because at that point who knows what they would do to it. I realize places are short staffed but when you’re rude to the customers you won’t have your job for long.
