Big Bowl Chinese Express — Restaurant in Chicago

We went to Big Bowl on a pleasant Tuesday evening and were given a table on the patio. The place had a great vibe and our server was friendly. We ordered 2 stir fry bowls; one with shrimp, rice and yellow curry, and the other with chicken, noodles and panang curry. We also ordered pot stickers, an iced tea and a fresh pomegranate ginger ale.

I highly recommend the ribs pot stickers and the shrimp with yellow curry. The other dishes were really good too. The iced tea was good, and so was the pomegranate ginger ale (however, I'd prefer a regular ginger ale). Overall, nothing bad to say about this place, the food, service,...

Honestly I was so happy that they had chinese food in Navy Pier until I arrived at the restaurant. The lady at the cashier was so rude(not the one with extremely long eyelashes). She literally stared at me and my family with a moody face. She looked like she hated us and her eyes just looked so dead. And the food was garbage my family ordered different things but it all tasted the same. I ordered Kung Pao and it didnt even taste like Kung Pao at all it had a really weird flavor. BEWARE! This restaurant is unsanitary and poses a threat to your health. I ate the Chicken Kung Pao yesterday, and roughly six hours later I started getting terrible cramps. That is when all hell broke loose. Throwing up over 10 times, and not to mention it was coming out the other end as well. The doctor confirmed that it was food poisoning from Big Bowl Chinese Express. I would never wish this upon anyone, DO NOT EAT HERE! I have heard several other complaints about illnesses from this restaurant and it makes me hope this place shuts down so that no one will go...
