I've been a regular at Cilantro Taco Grill in Old Town, especially drawn to their irresistible guacamole. On my latest visit, the aroma of grilling carne asada tantalized me enough to try something new alongside my usual guacamole order. Opting for just the carne asada in a bowl, I anticipated a small variation in price considering my simple choice. To my surprise, I was charged the full price of a bowl, rounding up my total to $19.34.
In moments like these, you hope for a gesture of recognition from the establishment—a nod to your regular patronage and a reflection on their pricing for what was a simpler dish. Sadly, this was not the case. The silence on their end over a price I thought could be adjusted left a small but noticeable dent in my experience. Read morethe atmosphere of the place is definitely corny and not well thought out, theres a hispanic in a cornfield on one wall (that the corn definitely isnt sourced from so theres no reason it should be there because it has nothing to do with the restaurant) and on the opposite side theres a wall with fake greenery with a lit up sign that says as i qoute “…its good on all” like what does that even mean… i also seen the owner of the place who is white and his girlfriend also white waltz around the place for a bit (only mentioning this because it goes to show the authenticity of the place) the food is also just not good at all the burrito i got tasted so boring i couldn’t even finish it, i had to douse it in spice to even enjoy the first half i had, the mild salsa wasnt even mild nor spicy whatsoever, also do not let the other reviews fool you, they must have never had authentic mexican food because this food is quite frankly ridiculous bad, for 20 dollars i got a burnt lacking in taste quesadilla, a a really small burrito with no flavor, and a decent drink , my advice go get your food from an authentic mexican restaurant ive gotten a fat burrito multiple quesadillas good salsa and a good drink all under 10 dollars, moral of the story is do not get...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying Cilantro Mexican Grill, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. I opted for the steak tacos, and they were delicious!

While I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, there were a few minor issues with my order that prevented me from giving a perfect rating. However, overall, I would highly recommend Cilantro Mexican Grill for a tasty and...
