Just tried DD’s Pizza and WOW, easily one of the best tavern-style pizzas I’ve had in Chicago. The crust is super thin and perfectly crispy, the sauce-to-cheese ratio is spot on, and every bite hits just right. Hands down the best thin crust pizza in the area. I grew up on NY/NJ pizza, but I love a good tavern style which is often over promised. This one gives the perfect crispy crust, which can survive the delivery, and the sausage size and flavor marries well with any other toppings you choose.
