Clark Street Bridge — Attraction in Chicago

The Clark Street Bridge is one of the numerous crossings of the Chicago River. Originally, a floating bridge in 1840, what you see today is a bascule bridge completed in 1929.

You can see the bridge up close as part of the Chicago Riverwalk which passes below. There is also a large seating area called the River Theater on the south bank just west of the bridge if you just want to have a seat and enjoy being on the river near the Clark Bridge Street.
