We stumbled upon Electric Shuffle by accident while heading to another bar — and we’re so glad we did! The 70s disco-inspired vibe immediately caught our eye, and once we realized it was a shuffleboard bar with immersive game tech, we knew we had to check it out.
We booked a 45-minute game session for two and had a blast. The shuffleboard experience goes way beyond the classic game — you get to choose from several fun, fast-paced formats, and the tech is super smooth. It even alerts you if you use the wrong puck! The staff gave us a quick tutorial when we arrived and were friendly and attentive throughout.
My Salted Caramel Espresso Martini on draft was surprisingly delicious — sweet but not too sweet. They also offer table service while you play, which makes the whole experience seamless. Even on a busy Friday night, the vibe was lively, and the DJ was spinning great music. We even got a few bonus minutes of game time when the system saw we ended in a tie — such a nice touch!
We had so much fun we returned on Monday with a group of six. It was less crowded, and the gameplay felt totally fresh with a larger group thanks to the way it mixes up opponents and game modes.
We didn’t try the food (next time!), but for drinks, service, and fun, this place is a win. Can’t recommend it enough for something a little...
Read moreChristian and Sarah were great bartenders! What a great place! Just opened 5/2/2025! It’s a great addition to the neighborhood of River North. Street parking and you have to put money in the meter via app. Park Chicago app. It’s $4.75 per hour. Brand new shuffle board tables and brand new everything. The lights and seating and drinks and food are all good! The staff are diverse and friendly. The crowd is in their 20s to 50s with the average age appearing 30s. It’s a happening crowd and the energy is high and fun. The pizza was great! I was surprised at how good it was! Chewy and light and thin enough (I love thinner pizza) and the cheese was salty but good! Being from the NYC area and east coast originally this was a perfect surprise bc Chicago pizza deep dish or thin is not good but it’s good here :-) You can enjoy Happy Hour 3pm to 5pm Monday to Friday where you get $5 beer/wine/seltzers and all fries. $10 for margaritas/ranch water/expresso martinis and house pizza. All inclusive brunch is $50 per person every weekend for 90 min of shuffleboard plus a bottle of bubbly and food. Non drinkers is $35 per person. And all inclusive shuffleboard social plus 3 drinks per person plus food is $60 as a deal. Non drinkers can pay $35. Normally shuffleboard is $20 per person and drinks range from $15-$18 on...
Read moreI don’t leave reviews often, but ES earned it. This cocktail bar is officially my favorite! Flew in to Chicago from the Netherlands with my partner to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and was invited to an outing at Electric Shuffle with friends. Checking in was easy and the service is amazing! We were immediately greeted by reception and seated by a host after waiting little to no time at all. It was our first time playing shuffleboard and we had a blast! Our host Mitchell was very kind and helpful in explaining the games to us and frequently checked in with our party when possible. Their open and energetic personality made the experience twice as fun. We never got the chance to thank them but the little drawing Mitchell gave us made our evening. It was so cute! I also want to give a HUGE thanks to our server Ashley! She was very patient and kind to our party so we made sure to tip plenty. We ordered the macaroni bites, tomato steak skewers and the boneless wings, ALL delicious and left us full. The cocktails had us feeling just as fine and playful too. Visiting Electric Shuffle is an experience I recommend everyone has, especially if Mitchell and Ashley are present. This place gets a 10/10 from us and we’ll be telling friends and family!...
