We traveled to Italy last year and had some of the best focaccia sandwiches of our lives, so admittedly, the bar was set very high in our minds. We were excited to try this spot in Chicago and really wanted to love it.
The ingredients were great… fresh toppings and thoughtful flavor combinations, but I just couldn’t get past the bread. It tasted dry and almost like there were preservatives in it. The beauty of these sandwiches is that everything starts with the bread, and unfortunately, this missed the mark for us.
Maybe we caught them on an off day, but we couldn’t even finish our sandwich. We’ll probably give it another shot because the concept is so promising, but as of now, we left...

I asked for ice cream to add to my espresso and they didn't want to charge me for ice cream, which was a nice gesture. The menu is full of very interesting panini choices and I'm looking forward to trying them next time. The atmosphere is very chill with relaxing music playing. You can meditate here for a few minutes if you're tired from your walk. The prices are the same as anywhere else but the menu is more interesting and unusual and the sandwiches look very big... it's a different kind of place compared to the other restaurants around this area, and it's a refreshing...
