My partner and I stopped by for a weekday brunch, and there were a decent amount of people there, but we were still seated without a wait. The space is large, spacious, and was decorated festively for the holidays. The service was very quick, friendly, and attentive. I thought the prices were a little high at first ($21 for my order), but once the food came, I felt it was definitely worth the price: the portions are huge!
I ordered the Cauliflower Hash Skillet with the Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes (came with 2 thick pancakes), and both were delicious--the perfect mix of sweet and savory (my absolute favorite combo). The skillet was flavorful and had a great mix of flavors and textures-- the aioli sauce with cheese, veggies, and chicken sausage made for a great combo. The cauliflower hash pieces provided a fresh and unique spin on the traditional potato hash, and offered a nicer texture in my opinion. The eggs were also fluffy and well scrambled.
The pancakes were also incredible; I don't have pancakes often, but these are definitely the best I've had. They were super soft and moist and the sauces on it were so delicious without being overly sweet. I feel like I could eat so many of these without ever getting sick of them.
My partner got the Garden Skillet with Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes and enjoyed it too! He liked the pancakes much better than the Garden Skillet though, which he felt was pretty standard, nothing special.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place-- the price-quantity-quality ratio is super solid! They don't take reservations and it usually gets quite crowded on popular weekend times, so aim to go on weekdays /...

Wildberry Pancakes & Café is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots I’ve experienced in Chicago. Located right across from Millennium Park, it’s the perfect place to fuel up before a day of sightseeing or meetings downtown.
From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh coffee and sizzling skillets sets the tone. The staff is warm, welcoming, and impressively efficient, even during peak hours. Yes, there’s usually a wait — but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it.
I ordered the Berry Bliss pancakes, and they were nothing short of spectacular. Fluffy, flavorful, and topped with a generous mix of fresh berries, vanilla anglaise, and berry coulis — it’s dessert for breakfast in the best way possible. I also tried the chorizo skillet, which was hearty, spicy, and perfectly balanced with eggs and crispy potatoes.
The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is Instagram-worthy. Whether you’re into sweet or savory, Wildberry has something for every palate. The coffee is strong and smooth, and they offer great seasonal specials too.
The ambiance is lively but cozy, with a modern café vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s clear this place is loved by locals and tourists alike.
Pro Tip: Join the waitlist online or arrive early to beat the rush. And don’t skip the pancakes — they’re legendary for a reason.
Overall, Wildberry is more than just a meal — it’s an experience. If you’re in Chicago and love great food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere, this spot should be at the top...
Read moreWildberry, to me, is head and shoulders above other breakfast and brunch places. It's all in the details of their food. It's not the typical bland American style breakfast that so many restaurants serve, but carefully crafted dishes where flavor takes center stage, but not at the cost of small portion sizes. I got a turkey chili omelette that came with cornbread, pancakes and fruit on the side. Each component was created for flavor like the chili which has a nice savory flavor that wasn't gamey and a smooth texture. The eggs were not overcooked, but fluffy and seasoned. The cornbread was something else. I've never had cornbread that tasted so good. It was also toasted on the grill and came with a decadent butter coating. The buttermilk pancakes were hearty with a bouncy spongy texture. Not some floppy discs you just mow down, but something that can fill you. My companions got the corned beef hash which was the best I ever tasted which may not be a high bar, but it exceeded any expectations I had and I wanted more. The hash browns were cooked perfectly with a crisp on the outside. They paired all that with buttermilk pancakes sprinkled with chocolate chips. All was excellent.
I first ate here around 4 years ago and it left a wonderful impression on me. I was extremely delighted they not only maintained quality but exceeded it.
The restaurant was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
I will always eat here when I'm in the...
