Stopped in for dinner with two friends. Starter: Fried green beans w/ masala aioli - fantastic coating and the aioli was great. Buffalo butter cauliflower - Great buffalo wing flavor, but completely vegetarian. Delicious. Bruschetta - The burrata cheese was great, but the rest kind of tasted jumbled together. Not bad, but not as impressive as the other two

Main: Beet Salad w/ fried Goat Cheese pearls. Nice light flavor, slightly salty, but not too much. Goat cheese was great. Arugula Salad - didn't try this one myself, but my friend said it was good, though the sheeps cheese got lost in the other flavors. Squash flatbread - Very good, fresh tasting, not too heavy, but filling.

Dessert flight: Had the apple crumb (fantastic flavor) Smore (This one tasted dry to me, but my friends loved it - definitely worth a try. Squash creme brulee - This was my favorite. The cream was colder than most creme brulee that I've had before (deeping dish so the torch doesn't heat up the bottom), but the vanilla bean and squash perfectly complimented the rich cream. Highly recommended!

3 courses split among friends for 25 w/tip, but please note we didn't go for the pricier entrees which range from $13-21. Based on my first experience, I'll be trying one of those...

This place is adorable! It's low-key yet upscale. I placed my order online for pick up at the restaurant. As soon as I walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. I arrived at the Range a little bit early, so my order wasn’t ready. The staff was nice and polite, they sat me down and offered me water while I waited for my order to be ready. In about 5 minutes later, I received my order. (It wasn't the restaurant's fault that my order wasn't ready on time, as I arrived earlier than the projected time when I placed my order online.) When I got home, both my husband and I agreed that the Range is one of our favorite restaurants in the area! My husband ordered the Range burger with bacon and a side of fries, and I ordered a veggie burger with a side of salad. We also got chicken fingers as an appetizer for both of us to share. The food was delicious! It was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I thought the portion sizes were generous! My vegan burger was big, and the salad portion was also substantial. I found the prices to be reasonable for the portion sizes we received. I wholeheartedly recommend the Range and...

As both a foodie and Chicago matchmaker, I am always interested in checking out restaurants for date nights. Range was amazing on all fronts- they had excellent food, cozy ambiance, and immpecable service. My party of 4 especially loved Gisselle's Bean Tostadas and the Carrot Flatbread as appetizers. For the main course, I can't speak highly enough about Dan's Half Chicken or the Stuffed Honeynut Squash. Even though we were almost full, we knew the desserts would be amazing, and we were right. The flourless chocolate cake was one of the best I've ever had, and the rum cake did not last long on our table.

In addition to the esquisite food, our table service was superb. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and the manager, Joseph, visited our table and checked on us throughout the evening. It has been a long time since I have been as impressed by a dining experience as I was last night. There were great options for the meat eaters and vegatarians, and there were excellent cocktails, wine, and mocktails. I will be sending family, friends, and clients alike to Range, and I hope they enjoy it as...

This restaurant is farm to table dining concept so their menu rotates depending on what's in season. The decor is stylish with cool chandeliers and a functional fireplace. We ordered the charcuterie plate and Buffalo cauliflower bites for appetizers. The charcuterie board had an amazing selection of hard and soft cheeses. For mains we ordered the cheeseburger, white fish filet and the hanger steak. oncept so their menu rotates depending on what's in season. The food was good not great with the exception of the charcuterie board and cauliflower bites. The staff here was excellent, my friend lost his phone and they went above and beyond looking for it. If I'm back in the area I would definitely return.
