Yesterday, my friend and I came into the new location in the river North area. First of all walking in the ambience was amazing. I love how she took the time to make the place her own and give it a certain twist that you just cannot find anywhere. I love how she took the time to put small details and make the place very elegant Food is always amazing. Never a disappointment there I enjoy the food. I had the catfish and grits and my sister had the shrimp and grits and we both enjoyed our meal. The bartender Ali, which also is one of my good friends, made us a special drink, and as always, she is amazing when it comes to bartending the drink she made was delicious. Visiting from NY. Here at the River North location just 2 minutes from the wonderful Royal Sonesta. A DELICIOUS breakfast!!!! 🫶 every bite of every dish I had was perfect!! Even the simple breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs were so well done. The best grits I've ever had in my life. Didn't have to add anything. The R&B soul with the decor had me dancing in my seat and Soraya had the best recommendations! 💙 You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I plan to come back to try more things on the item. Went early on Saturday morning for breakfast. Had complications with the high top table being too small and caused us to spill our drinks because there wasn’t enough space on the table to hold everything. The chair was broken at the bottom. Overall 8/10 experience. Food was delicious all but the eggs. The lamb chops were delicious but were cut weird. One chop had barely no meat on it then other chop was so thick it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Catfish gumbo was delicious. Pecan waffle delicious along with red beans & rice.
