Activate Games — Attraction in Chicago

Had a really great time here on an early Friday afternoon. The staff was incredibly helpful and I appreciate the locker system. The activity area is very spacious with clean bathrooms and plenty of room to sit down and take a breather, with a lot of infotainment scattered around. The game/activity system is easy to navigate, though some of the specific game modes are a little confusing and I wasn't a big fan of 1-2 games (that eye room, I'm looking at you) but overall, they're all really creative and fun, and will be a lot easier to navigate with subsequent visits.

Price-wise, I feel like I got a lot of value with the 60-minute play time, but I feel like this place would make a killing with some kind of membership plan. After 60 minutes, I was sweaty and out of breath, but I definitely could have gone another 30 minutes, so next time I'll do 90-minutes. I was 100% fulfilled though after 60, for those first timers who are on the fence. Great rewards/redemption system as well, with discounts offered at higher "tiers". It's a great way to make you feel like a video game character and to keep you coming back. 10/10 experience and I will not only be back, but I also highly recommend. This place is absolutely epic! My best friend, my daughter and I went there yesterday and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. This was incredibly fun and interactive but on top of that, our locker was included in the price, we were able to get pictures taken without and extra charge AND we received bonus time at the end of our play. This company is doing it right. It was so refreshing to not be charged above and beyond. We will absolutely be coming back again and again at a location closer to our home. Came for a birthday and had a blast! Game rooms only go up to 5 players, so my group of 6 kept splitting off and rotating players, which was fine. The crew was great and attentive. The way it's setup made it easy and quick to try the rooms without any backups/lines. Only thing my friends and I wish was different is that it let you do 2 rounds before ending your game for the next group. One round doesn't really offer you the opportunity to get the feel of it.
