Well it's kind of a mixed story. I was going to my favorite buffet around the corner( that is closed on Monday 🙄) And I've drove passed this place for years and never stopped in because it looks iffy from the outside. (See pics) The parking is oddly structured, the building itself has been remodeled several times poorly but it was clean inside. It's fortunate for new customers that the menu (see pic) is numbered because the place is ran by a elderly family or 2 couples with poor English skills. Yeah the service was slow but the food was good and plenty. I had one of my Asian favorites, Garlic Eggplant with rice, good but not over the top. They have a standard extensive Asian menu, lots of choices, and reasonably priced but looking back the man that took my order never used a register nor gave a receipt just rattled of a price off the top of his head and I don't think it matched the posted prices. Not cool... Ya can't get 5 stars if you short your customers, lack atmosphere and service but good food will get steady local traffic.

Beef and Broccoli was all broccoli and very little if any beef. Kung pow chicken was a giant zucchini, cut up with lots of peanuts and very little chicken maybe a handful of tiny pieces.. fried food tasted stale. Crab Rangoon was gross on inside and tasted like it was fried yesterday and nuked for my order to warm. Rice tasted like yesterdays for sure. Egg rolls tasted old too. First time trying and disappointed. Way too expensive and not hungry enough to eat. Sadly, I won’t be back. $31 down the drain. 🥴

This used to be a childhood favorite of mine but the quality of what I used to love getting there has drifted pretty far from what it used to be. However, they at least sell cream cheese wontons for maybe the lowest price in town currently, and fill them very generously compared to anywhere else, although the ones I ordered today were slightly burnt. They're also – to my pleasant surprise – put into paper bags for to-go orders, and not into a styrofoam containers like most of the other stuff they sell.

I don't often go to places that are just okay. I just don't have anything glaringly bad or great to say here but I'll go over what I had. The fried rice was decent, with chunks of chicken, which was a huge surprise, but could have used more seasoning. They went huge and easy on the peas, which was nice. The pot stickers were fluffy and good but no sauce! That's okay though, I can make my own when I get them home. The the sweet and sour pork was pretty tasty but there was something off and I'll get to that when I get to the chow mein. The egg fu Yung was generous, but unfortunately the gravy on it was not. Still, good quality. The chow mein was where I noticed something off. It was a bitter, chemical taste and it was in everything just a bit. My guess is that, in order to save costs, they use canola oil instead of peanut or vegetable (soybean). It didn't ruin it for me but it wasn't a benefit. Overall it was fine, but nothing incredible, except... The foil wrapped chicken was absolutely delicious. I would go back just for that. A rich, savory sauce that permeates the chicken thighs, they were the star of the show by far. As others have mentioned, there's a bit of a language barrier but the order came out fine regardless. No napkins unless we asked though.v My only suggestions for the owners? Upgrade to peanut oil and bump the prices up like $0.50 to compensate. A bit of oyster sauce really helps deepen the fried rice flavor but that's just my preference. The low score for atmosphere can't be helped. It's a covered fast food building, so it will always have hard seats and just have that aire. Overall, will probably go back just for the foil wrapped chicken and...

I am a lifelong fan of the Egg Roll King, I have been eating there for nearly 30 years. My favorite dish is "tofu and veggies with steamed rice" it's not on the menu but the tofu is fried and delicious. The veggies with it are delicious as well. Bock choy, zucchini, diakon, broccoli and baby corn. I also love their pot stickers. My wife always orders a couple of veggie egg rolls. I absolutely love their pho soup as well. I have tried many other dishes over the years and been very happy with them too.

I must say that they have a particular way about them that can turn people off so that they miss out on the delicious food. You might be sitting at the drive through menu waiting to order without a response for a while, sometimes a long while if they're busy. I sometimes cough or clear my throat to remind them that I'm still there. If you don't want to deal with that, you can always just go inside and order something to go. Also, the way they speak to you sometimes can feel a bit abrupt. They are very nice people and not trying to be rude but it can feel like that sometimes with our inflated standards of service.

There food is made fresh and therefore be ready to wait. This isn't a microwaved hamburger like you can get next door. It is fresh and delicious.

I just love this place, it is one of my favorite locations for lunch or dinner. You need to be patient sometimes but the reward...
