This is my new favorite sushi place. The Noelle roll was amazing. Sweet with crisp apples and lemon with a bird's nest on top made of roasted leeks, it was both very refreshing and unique. Everything was beautiful and detailed. The blue fin tuna was excellent as well. We tried a few more rolls but between my wife and I we were very full after splitting three rolls but we managed to finish all four! We didn't try any cocktails because it's Wednesday but the green tea was only okay. They need a better tea kettle for the table and more of a selection would be nice, right now green tea is the only option and we didn't see it on the menu. All and all it was a little under $100 for all 4 rolls and tea with tax and tip. I would say it's worth it. This is the new best sushi place in Chico in my opinion.

Sushi was incredible, staff was friendly and accommodating, and service was quick! My wife and I had the Noelle roll, and I have never had fish this soft. The depth of flavor was incredible, and every bite was a new mix of savory, citrusy, and sweet through the whole roll! The Tuna Tartare and Snow white roll was incredible as well. Miso soup is the best I've had. Very unique dishes with extra care for aesthetic! The only drawback was the lack of gluten free options on the menu. But, the staff was very accommodating and recommended rolls that could be easily changed to fit our needs without sacrificing flavor. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to eat here again!

Let me start off by saying I can’t stand the 530 and I’m not from here. Chico does not even deserve a place this good this area is trash from Redding to orland to yuba city. I’ve had sushi all over. Miami/LA/San Francisco… etc etc. this is by far one of the best places I’ve ever been to and the chef they have here is Amazing. I’ve been 3 times and sit next to him every time. His work is insanely good and he’s very funny and personable. The quality of fish here is crazy good and some even imported from Japan. Go to this spot and I promise you won’t go anywhere else. This place is better then anywhere nearby even in Sacramento. Miriam park roll is fire and many others.

UPDATE: I returned to the restaurant for another try and as mentioned below the atmosphere was vibrant and lively. My server was Kang, who was very friendly and informative about the menu. He quickly filled our glasses and took my order moments later, I was able to indulge in the 3 sushi rolls that I had ordered prior, this time promptly. The sushi was made from high-quality and well-sourced ingredients. A sushi roll that stood out to me was the Blue Fin roll, the bluefin tuna was finely prepared and you could taste the delicious fatty meat of the fish. I was greeted by Kang many times throughout the night as well as other staff members checking in on my table and filling up my glass. Due to my near-perfect experience, I even decided to stay for dessert, which was a fried cheesecake that was nothing like I'd ever tasted before. I will say that this visit was much better than the last and this is one of the BEST sushi restaurants that I have eaten at. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to try quality sushi.

This place has a great atmosphere and the food looks amazing from what I saw from my bar seat but unfortunately, I was not able to taste any food due to the lackluster service that was provided during my visit. My server Leo was extremely kind and informative about the menu and helped influence some of my selections. I then waited over a HOUR without any sign of Leo to update and/or assure me that my order was being made. Due to this, I became frustrated as I watched other tables who were seated before me get served their meals and tended to by their servers consistently. As my patience grew thin I decided to call over a different waiter to cancel my order, it was at this time that Leo appeared and started apologizing for the service as I headed for the door. I had high expectations for this place but I left disappointed with their service and an...

This place lives up to all the hype and is setting the bar high for other restaurants trying to come onto the scene! The ambiance was fabulous; modern, chill vibe with a slight feel of city-life sprinkled here and there but not too much to make it feel uncomfortable for our small town. Every single staff member was on point from when we walked in and greeted by the friendly hostess until we walked out and one of the bussers opened the door for us to leave. Beautiful bar and fun layout that makes every table feel like it belongs. They recommended a red wine that was delicious and didn't try to push the most expensive glass on us. And now the main part, the food!! Oh my yumminess!!! I wish we would have taken pictures but we were so in awe and living in the moment that we forgot and just enjoyed! Every dish that came out was a unique piece or art and it continued on with the taste!! My husband loves spice and thoroughly enjoyed the muscles and I think some sort of Hamachi carpaccio. I had the K2 roll which was full of flavor and definitely filling! It tasted like real crab and not imitation which you dont easily find. I felt that the price was fair for the quality of food and overall dining experience. You definitely need to try it, especially if you enjoy Japanese cuisine. I forgot to look at the menu to see what they had besides Japanese or if they had kid options so that gives us a good excuse to go back again sooner than later. Thank you for bringing something so yummy and...
