Target — Local services in Chico

September 26th I was in your Chico California target when entering the checkout line I noticed there was commotion going on the check stand next to where I was checking out a gentleman was trying to buy some products and there was a problem the manager showed up  and for over 5 minutes patronized argue and insulted The gentleman trying to buy his products she kept reminding him she didn't have to sell him anything every few seconds and when he couldn't take it anymore and started to get a little loud that he just wanted to buy the stuff she then again would remind him she doesn't have to sell him anything and was not being helpful was not being polite was not being a manager and the entire time I was explaining to my daughter that that is not how you treat people especially in a higher power position The believed manager's name is Amanda And I am quite appalled at how this young very young manager who clearly wasn't trained on how to be a manager or was poorly, was insulting threatening and patronized this older gentleman just trying to shop at the store she continued until I finally butted in after 5 minutes I couldn't stand to listen to Amanda speak to that man anymore she was so out of line that even I feel threatened to buy anything from that store let alone couldn't imagine how that man felt  who also had a small child with him who he couldn't attend to because he had to argue  And prove how much he wanted to buy the product to Amanda before she seemed willing to sell it to him it was atrocious a person like that should never work in a customer service position I believe that that Amanda should be removed instantly from target and never work at target again because the way she treated that person was beyond out of line and she clearly does not know how to be in any type Of position of power. Went here today for a window air conditioner unit, after searching online. I left and went straight there seeing only 1 of 2 left available; upon showing up and finding the correct section I found only 2 window AC units 8n stock with both of them being way bigger and more expensive than I could afford.

Thankfully, I saw and asked the nice gentleman stocking shelves if they had the one I had seen online. Edgar had remembered seeing another ac unit sitting in a randomly, odd, out of place location. He found it again and he saved the day because it was the exact one I needed! This young man, Edgar, was totally awesome and helped me find and price a few more items through out my shopping trip and NEVER once seemed annoyed that I was interrupting his stocking of shelves, and coming from a big chain store back home I know how it can be. Thank you so much Edgar you're truly a lifesaver!

6/21/25 in the morning of 10am I’m shopping with my 9month old. I myself had to use the bathroom. My daughter is sitting in the cart who can’t be left unattended. I wanted to use the family restroom the first time ever being newly mom. No I waited 5minutes. All for your Target employee who was on his phone or popping in the family restroom as employee. I was so pissed. I told him how dare you use that restroom. I went right up front for manger. Who then proceeded to tell me in some occasion we advise them too. I yelled NO YOU DONT YOU EMPLOYEE DONT WORK WITH THEIR FAMILIES TO USE THAT BATHROOM. It’s for people like myself who need it no for employee to hide from management on their phone. I used to work department store I know the tricks to use to be on my phone. That manger and employee need extra training that’s so far unexpected and rude to say to mom or have her see.
