Food is old cold and still hardly eating thing in the chalupa all the chalupa is is a stout to Luther bread. Bathrooms are so absolutely foul that I really did not want to use it. Urine and toilet paper inside the toilet garbage overflowing empty garbage cans. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. The food is cold. The taco shells are still the phone line has been busy, Can't get ahold of one person and this is not the first time having a problem with this location. This talk about on East avenue and the other talk about on asplanade absolutely suck. I hate going to these locations because the food sucks. The service sucks. The facility sucks nine out of 10. The orders are incorrect. I am now at the point as a former taco bell employee, I absolutely hate going to Taco bell. It is absolutely foul inside and out. I HAD TO TOSS $20 WORTH OF COLD AND STALE FOOD!!!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY. The chalupa was so stale that it caused physical pain to my jaw. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND BODILY HARM BY CHOOSING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. I truly wish I can give a 0 star rating. They also need to hang up their phone instead of leaving on the busy line. Read morePhillip - 20 something mustache with dark hair has been working the drive through lately. He has a hard time hearing customers over the intercom. I repeated myself 5 times and he couldn’t hear me, stopped speaking for about 2 minuets without any communication and had me order again, he still couldn’t hear me. I finally yelled my order did not say anything disrespectful or rude just yelled because I repeated myself 7 times. He laughed when I yelled so didn’t think there was an issue. When he handed me my food he stated “You know we don’t get paid enough to be disrespected like that.” I had explained where I was coming from and he was speaking over me and wouldn’t let me talk. I was scared that my food was spit in because phillip said I was being disrespectful so I went inside to return my food. I waited about 10-15 minutes and of course they had phillip help Me. I politely asked for a manager and he yelled in front of me “manager we have an angry customer” while waiving his arms. I felt so disrespected and embarrassed. I wasn’t even angry just uncomfortable and no longer wanted my food. The manager refunded my food and heard me out but it doesn’t really seem like she cared which is understandable. My advice would be to train Philip to be more respectful if he is going to have a customer facing role. I keep my expectations at zero, but my boyfriend still has hope every time only for it to be crushed as they have gotten our order fully correct maybe 10% of the time, and that's being generous. Then, as you can see in the reviews, it got a million times worse after covid and is still as bad as everybody says. Skip this taco bell for sure. Cherry on top- about two months ago I went inside the taco bell and the cashier was doing a shift change or something, which is fine, and told me it would be a minute. But.. they never came back and the 6+ people making food and doing drive thru seemed to think I was standing at the counter to admire their idiocy. It took ~10 minutes for somebody to finally come take my order, and it was clear they hadn't just not realized I hadn't been helped. They simply didn't care at all.
(I'm not sure if it was 10 minutes, because just standing there makes time seem to pass much slower, but it was AT LEAST seven or so times longer than one should ever spend waiting for an order to be taken at a taco bell, especially with how many people were working.
