I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taj Fine Indian Cuisine in Chico, CA, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. Allow me to share the highlights of my delightful visit with you.
The 2 entree meal I ordered, consisting of channa masala, mix veg curry, and a gobi paratha, was a feast for the senses. The flavors were simply outstanding, with each dish showcasing the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. However, the true star of the meal was the gobi paratha. It was perfectly crispy on the outside, while the filling was flavorful and made with utmost freshness. I can confidently say that it was the most delicious paratha I have ever had in any Indian restaurant. The attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients truly shone through in every bite.
Beyond the extraordinary food, Taj Fine Indian Cuisine offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring that every guest feels like part of their extended family. To enhance the dining experience, the restaurant had Punjabi music videos playing on the TV screens, creating a vibrant and enjoyable ambiance. It was a unique touch that added to the authenticity and charm of the place.
In addition to the culinary delights and friendly service, Taj Fine Indian Cuisine offers reasonable prices. You can savor the flavors of authentic Indian cuisine without worrying about breaking the bank. It's an excellent value for the quality and taste you receive.
The cleanliness of the restaurant also deserves commendation. The attention to hygiene and cleanliness was evident throughout the establishment, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant dining environment.
Lastly, the convenient location of Taj Fine Indian Cuisine, along with ample parking, makes it easily accessible for visitors. It's always a relief to find a place with hassle-free parking, allowing you to focus solely on enjoying your dining experience.
In conclusion, Taj Fine Indian Cuisine in Chico is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. From the delectable dishes to the friendly owners, the reasonable prices, and the convenient location, it offers an exceptional dining experience. Read moreWent outside of my comfort zone and stepped into Taj Fine Indian Cuisine. Virtually empty when I went...plenty to choose from at the hot table! I got the 2 entree with rice plate ($9.99) and the Garlic Naan ($2.99). I ordered the Lamb Curry and the Tandoori Chicken, then decided to also order the Karahi Chicken ($4.99) for tomorrow. Piled HIGH, the smells assailed my nose when I opened the container. The vegetables were crisp, the sauces thick, and the meat cooked to fall-apart perfection. The Curry showed that the Naan was a necessary addition, as the spices were absolutely on point!! The Tandoori Chicken was in large chunks, and tasty and milder than the Curry. The rice was cooked perfectly...all I could do to finish my items, but I still have my Karahi Chicken for lunch. They even threw in a Julab Gamun ball for dessert! If you want an authentic Indian eating experience, eat at Priya's and pay the $$$ price, BUT if you want extremely taste-worthy food at a good $...
