My husband and I love that we can use our NARM membership at the Chico History Museum—what a great perk for travelers who enjoy learning about local history! The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, and we always appreciate the dedication of the volunteers who make this museum possible. Keep up the great work, Chico History Museum!

Small but insightful place of information. This museum will tell you a lot more than you might imagine. Did you know there was an electric street car going from San Francisco to Chico. There were steamboat ferris coming up from SF ( to Marysville and as far as Red Bluff). There was a big Chinatown- whose inhabitants were harassed, killed and eventuell driven out of town.
