Oasis Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Chico

I only rate 3 stars because they say food is served until 9:00 pm. I haven't been here in a little while and so I brought a friend with me so we can shoot some pool. My friend was hungry and we arrived inside at 8:50 pm and we asked what time do they stop serving food. We were told 9:00 pm. There was a lady in the kitchen and the bartender asked her if she could make anything and she told him the kitchen was closed. My friend said they just wanted something fried. She so the kitchen was closed. I've worked in a restaurant for 8 1/2 yrs and I know it's not hard to make some french fries and doesn't take long at all. Other than that it was a great evening and we had fun playing pool. They have 7 pool tables so we found one to play on easily. The bartender was friendly and the patrons were friendly and it wasn't very crowded which. I'm sure it may have gotten busier after we left. I'll definitely go back to play pool but probably not eat there since the kitchen closes before the...

My wife and I were checking out "Other" sports bars after the GRAD closed. We came here to watch a "Warriors" game. Bartender was friendly, but quite buzzed. We went to order food, but the owner, an older woman, would not take our order. We were wearing our "God, Warriors, Family" sweatshirts. The bartender took our order and said the reason his boss did not take our order was of the first word on our sweatshirts....Wow. Just saying. 3/23/2018.....Re checked my review from TWO years ago. The false owner left a bogus response stating her employees do not drink on the job. Wow. We observed her bartender "Slam" 5-6 shots with very intoxicated customers for the hour we were there. People...Please understand business owners pay online companies to have honest NEGATIVE...

The food is outstanding... that was a unexpected bonus for sure. Haven't had anything yet I didn't like. The pool tables and more importantly the pool cues/sticks are above average & in good condition. The drinks are reasonable and all in all just a fun casual place to go. Tables are regulation though so if your used to playing on a bar size table this isn't it. Although there is a smaller one at the front of the bar. Pretty much a sports bar where regulars & pool players go after work. Karaoke night and Marlene the host are top notch. She knows her stuff and has quite a following of regulars. She makes all the singer's have fun and it shows. Plus she can sing herself so that's always nice. Definitely worth checking out when...
