Mya's Noodle House — Restaurant in Chiefland

Well it’s rare that I post a poor review and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but this place isn’t somewhere I’d visit again. We were passing through and LOVE a good bowl of noodles but unfortunately our nice day didn’t end with such a nice meal. We walked into an empty restaurant, and got asked if we were taking out and we asked if it was ok to dine in. The tone was off but we went on. The booths look like they were out of a 90s Taco Bell restaurant but we continued to look past this. Some of the best food can come out of hole in the walls, right? We continued to order. We ordered two bowls and an egg drop soup. While they were making it I decided to wash my hands in the sink before eating. The bathrooms were not nice at all and honestly made me question how clean everything else was. The soups came out and had zero flavor it was like having noodles in just plain bowling water. They were completely bland, no flavor to the broth. But we were starving so we continued to eat. I will say the crab ragoons were great! However that didn’t overcome the egg drop soup. We politely told the waitress that there was shells in it, and that we didn’t want a replacement or the item. When the bill came we asked for it to be removed since it was not edible as is but a nasty attitude came right after. She then proceeded to go to the cash register which is in ear shot and express herself. I wanted this to be a great stop, but unfortunately it was not and we will not be adding it to our usual trip. OMG...and not in a good way! We sat there for 30 min and only received a menu! There were ONLY 7 people in there waiting. While we SAT there staring at the walls waiting for service..the signs that were posted makes an uneasy Feeling. Here's the best part...a woman came in with her order...she said this is not what I ordered. Now there was an OPEN container, due to the woman looking at the order. Well a worker took that order to the "correct" customer. ...WITH THE CONTAINER STILL OPENED!!!!!! The health department would LOVE to know about this.... The lady who had the incorrect order asked a worker, is 45 minutes your normal wait time for 2 dinner orders??? WTAF!! 45 minutes! really! Nope we walked out! I was pleasantly surprised nice little restaurant very cozy. Wasn't sure of the seating so we sat ourselves Didn't even look at the menu decided to Try the buffet. It's small doesn't have much , but it is all of deliciousness They are still trying to figure it out so it constantly changes... I wish there was vegetables that was not Mixed with seafood as i'm definitely allergic to seafood. I mentioned it to the lady there and they said they're working on making it Better they're new at this... I wasn't disappointed and I will be back. Egg drop soup was delicious, fried rice the lo main, The chicken and the cucumber savage likes stuff with delicious.A little bit sweet for my taste... They get offer of jello in a cup ...
