They put like 10 fries in my meals and they were soggy and most of them were undercooked! Terrible service and food! Worst experience! I would give this place 0 stars if I could! Driving from Houston to Albuquerque and we needed to fuel up and get food for our family. First we go to the drive thru and no greeting just "order when you're ready" start ordering and again "order when you're ready" we order the same 2 meals one with a drink one without. We sit and wait about 5 minutes and get told to pull to the front. Another wait time. The lady finally brings our food and it was a completely different order. I go back inside to let her know our order is wrong, told her I had 2 steak finger baskets 6 PC. And she said uhh no you ordered the 4 pc one chicken one steak and you want to change it at the last minute. And i tried to explain that the ticket didn't even match what i ordered and she snatched the ticket and food from my hand and told the other person "she ordered this and now is trying to say she didn't and now we have to make it all over again!" Very rude and frustrated another guy walked in at the same time as me and said did they mess up on you too? She rudely tells him "and what do you want?" All he wanted was his drink. Then another guy walks in and said to me "did they give you the 4pc chicken and steak" yes they sure did. That's when I lost my cool! There was no need for that lady to be Very rude and unprofessional about upset customers due to HER mistakes. Not 5o mention I think she was the Manager her name was Nora I was told by the boy. When I started raising my voice because I realized that she was arguing with me trying to make me feel like I was in the wrong and she realized she messed up she went to drive through and when I raised my voice to call her out she would not come out. The nice man was very apologetic and saying im sorry after I told him that he should not be the one to be apologizing for her behavior she should apologize for herself and she never came back out! I am not happy at all about the worse service ever and a I get is an I'm sorry that wasn't from her! Do not stop here. I just wanted to relax and get a bite in between a long 14 hr drive...
Read moreMy wife and I started going to D.Q. for their tacos a while back, since Taco Bell only wants to put a sliver of meat in their's anymore. We've ate them at D.Q. in Plainview, Floydada, and even at this Childress location a time or two. Always were satisfied. On the way to Childress this afternoon, I asked the wife, " Do we want to see if Taco Bell has gotten any better or just go to D.Q.? She said, D.Q. since they are always better. Went in and noticed right off the bat, a woman around the age of 30 or so sitting in a booth with a dog sitting next to her. There was no service dog vest on it and judging by her appearance, she was a traveler probably from California or westcoast somewhere to say the least. Nonetheless, management should've told her that's illegal. However the help at the counter was very nice. I even told the young lady about Taco Bell and how we'd tossed it around about giving them another chance but said, naw, we've always been satisfied at Dairy Queen. We get our tacos and they were short. We were thoroughly disappointed. I removed the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese only to find enough ground beef about the size of a #2 pencil. Took it to the front and showed it to the nice lady and said, "so, this is what we get now?". She replied basically that it's scooped out in accordance. I told her that I was sorry that this happened and that we "couldn't" eat here anymore. The look on her face was genuinely one of concern. We finished our kittie meal and told...
Read moreWe stopped by on the way home and it turned into one of those awful experiences that you look back on and wonder how those folks still have a job. It took 45 minutes to get an order of kids chicken strips and a sandwich .When the food arrived so did the flies. Not a fly - FLIES. We wanted to get on the road quickly so I asked for a small Blizzard just to watch the 2 ladies behind the counter chit chat amd play on their phones for 10 minutes .We walked to the counter amd one of them took their phone and walked back to the line cook to talk with him and show him something fascinating on her phone. My friend asked her if she could get started on my Blizzard so we could leave, and she snapped an attitude and said she didn't know I needed one because the other lady didn't tell her, but it was on her screen. Right. Over. Her. Head . The other lady was visiting with another customer and I asked if she could get started on it and she said it would be a bit ...I asked her for a refund and she asked for a receipt, which I tossed over 10 minutes ago into the trash. She then said she'd need a receipt to give me a refund, so I started digging through the trash. I told her I'd rather be out $3 and on my way than keep digging in the trash. We were there almost an hour and a half for a Dude and a kids meal and a Blizzard that...
