I hardly ever write reviews for anything, but after what I experienced today, I just had to write one!
When I went to get my lunch at Chipotle today, the line was low. There were only 3 people in front of me, all of which were together. The workers had run out of rice, so there was a very minor wait of about 2 minutes to get some more on the line. The 3 people in front of me had no patience, were using curse words, and raising their voices at the 3 men who were working up front. The men worked hard to try and accommodate all of the customers needs, but they couldn't seem to satisfy them. At this point one of the customers began to yell, leaning over the counter and making a scene. The disruptive customer then had the nerve to go over and interrupt one of the managers, who was busy having a meeting at a table near by. Long story short, after the manager came and offered to remake their whole order, the 3 still were being disrespectful, one of them tossed something on the counter and they left in an uproar. I was shocked. I can not put in to words the insanity that went on over something so silly!
With that said, I am writing this review to compliment the amazing, polite and hard working staff at Chipotle. After all that had happened not one of the staff members got out of hand, as most people would. They kept calm and never stopped trying to help the customers. After the customers left, the manager gave everyone in line our meals for free and apologized multiple times for what had went on.
I eat at Chipotle 2-3 times a week and I have never once had a bad experience! The workers are all polite and seem to enjoy and take pride in their work. I have always thought highly of the employees at Chipotle, but today they raised the bar even higher.
Finally, I'd like the thank the staff at Chipotle Chillicothe not just for giving me a free meal, but most of all for the professionalism they displayed and each workers determination to satisfy...
Read moreI ordered online from the Chipotle listed as Jeffersonville, OH which is located in Octa, OH. The online ordering system stated my order would be ready by 7:10PM. I waited until 7:25 to arrive, as this location is habitually late in prepping the orders. I arrived and entered the store. I looked at the pickup rack and my order was not there. I proceeded to the counter where an employee asked me if I was there for a pickup, I said I was. She asked for my name and I gave it, I stated that according to the online system it should have been ready awhile ago. The employee said in a condescending voice, "we are under staffed, you are welcome to come back here and work." I asked her if she gets paid to do her job? She stated yes but, if I wanted my food faster I was welcome to come back there and work. I said to her they should update their online ordering system to be more accurate so as not to mislead the customer and possibly corporate to how long it takes to get an order. She told me that if I have a problem, I should tell corporate. I said I would indeed. All of this employees interaction was caught on film by the numerous cameras above the prep area if they work. I hope that someone reviews these tapes. I recommend that this location give more accurate times to patrons coming to pick up food. Should we all simply stand around in a group waiting for our food,...
Read moreFood here has always been consistently good. This review is specifically regarding service on the evening of 10-19-24 around 8:00 pm. The woman working the food line with brownish hair in a braid and knuckle tattoos should be fired. Never have I ever been to a Chipotle and witnessed such awful customer service. No warm greeting (no greeting at all actually), visibly irritated, hostile energy, aggressively threw utensils in each bin, and had ZERO skills pertaining to the definition of what customer service means. Even her co-workers appeared uncomfortable working in her presence. If I were the general manager, I would be embarrassed to have that employee directly dealing with customers and tainting the work culture of the employees at...
