My husband and I went here for our anniversary, and I have to say that we were very, very disappointed in the food that we received. My husband insisted that I order the Ultimate Surf and Turf, and I thought that it was a little pricey, but he told me to get it since it was our anniversary, so I did. (He ordered clam strips, fish, fries, and green beans). Of course we began our meal with the cheddar bay biscuits, and we weren't given any butter for them. When we finally received our meals, after a 25 minute wait, I cut a piece of my lobster and put it in my mouth, and it was cold. My husband got the waitress's attention and told her, and she took it back. My scallops and steak, though delicious, were barely lukewarm, and the bacon that was wrapped around my scallops was almost raw. My husband's fries were cold, and we both ordered green beans as a side, and we didn't get them until we were almost finished with our meal because they didn't send them with our meal, and/or the waitress forgot them, and we had to ask for them. I guess that we shouldn't have, as they were cold and were terrible. I felt bad because we constantly had to ask the waitress for more condiments, as they didn't bring you any, or they only brought you a tiny bit. I received no melted butter with my lobster, and I have ALWAYS received butter with my lobster in the past, and we had to ask for steak sauce, lemon (to go with the lobster), ketchup, and tartar sauce. The service that we received from the waitress was great, but the meal was terrible. Oh, and since we had so much trouble with the food being cold, we were given a "free" piece of $7.99 cheesecake to take home with us. I wouldn't give you $1.00 for that cheesecake, as it was not that good, and definitely not worth the $7.99 that they charge for one slice. I would rather go to Aldi and pay $9.99 for a whole cheesecake that has 4 or 5 different flavors, and tastes 100% better! I was going to only give it 1 star, but like I said, the service we received from the waitress was good, but for $70, the food was not good. I think that we would have been better going to Long John Silver's, at least the...
Read moreWe,ve been going to the Chillicothe Oh. Red Lobster for about 30 years now, and I have to say it's really gotten pitiful. The portions are smaller, the prices are getting rediculous, and, what's the deal with the "slivers" of fish? They now charge an extra $2.49 for a salad, which USED to come with the meal, and it's about time to start bringing your own drinks. The cheese sticks are basically tasteless mush, the scallops are now not much better, and the baked potatoes have been smaller for a long time. It's pretty bad when you can get just as good of a meal from Captain D's for half the price. It must be company-wide because we ate at the Winter Haven, Florida establishment a month and a half ago with our family and it was the same thing. My father-in-law refused to even eat his fish "slivers". Anyway, I guess, like some of our friends and family have said, it's time to let it go and find another place for our "go to". By the way, it cost my wife and I over $63 the other day, no appetizers, no "drinks", and we"ve decided "no more"! Red Lobster, if you want to raise your prices, fine, but at least keep the same quality AND quantity of food! Well, thanks for the memories, but we"re done. Well, I just looked at some of the other reviews, and APPARENTLY there is a GLARINGLY obvious issue with the Chillicothe, Oh.store. Like I said, it's NOT what it used to be. Well, I provided them a phone # but, not surprisingly, they...
Read moreAfter allowing us to wait for 40 mins, my family of 4 (2 small children) was refused to be seated and then criticized and discriminated against because of my medical condition. I was not only mocked by the manager John, but another server/hostess too. I have been to other Red Lobster locations recently with no issues, but John insisted that I could not walk 5 more feet to a table even though I had already been standing in the lobby for a decent amount of time, due to company policy, a policy that he could not prove to me even existed. My kids were starving and antsy after such a long wait but I refuse to give my money to businesses who openly discriminate like this so we chose to spend our $75 elsewhere last night and ended up having to wait another 30-40 at a different restaurant. What turned into a fun night out with my family, one that hasn’t been able to happen often due to covid, turned into a 3.5 hour nightmare with hungry tired children, all because John at Red Lobster likes to make up his own rules. Again, I will NEVER give Red Lobster another dime and I will make sure that everyone I know doesn’t...
