Cielo Azul Cantina & Grill — Restaurant in Chino Hills

I needed to have my mothers Celebration of Life catered, for about 70 people. I ended up going with Xavi's Cantina and Grill in Chino Hills. We had gone there several times before for lunch or dinner, and the food was always great. However, I was still apprehensive because some restaurants when they cook larger quantities, the food tends to lose flavor, or the rice is crunchy etc. Even though I had these concerns, I decided to go with them. First of all they delivered the food right on time. They were extremely generous with the portion amounts, we had plenty left over. But the true test was the taste!! Everything was amazing! I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Several guests wanted to know where I purchased the food from. We had Chile Colorado, Chile Verde, and Chicken Fajitas with rice, beans, chips and salsa. All 3 main dishes were so delicious and flavorful! The rice and beans were great as well, and the chips were hot and fresh. I was so grateful to have gone with Xavi's Cantina. We had a fantastic dinner at Cielo Azul Cantina and Grill! The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff attentive, and everything from start to finish made for an enjoyable evening.

The Fajitas de Carnitas were absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, tender, and served sizzling hot with all the right accompaniments. We also ordered a pitcher of house margaritas on the rocks, which was wonderful — fresh, flavorful, and just the right strength to complement our meal.

One note: there is a 3% service charge for credit card payments, so be aware if you plan to use one. That said, it was well worth it for the quality of food and experience.

Cielo Azul has definitely earned a spot on our favorites list. We’ll be back soon! Went here for birthday with family. The service great, it IDs nice even they check and see if you need more chips...

Wow, where do I start?? First off customer service is in DEFINITE need of people skills training. Puts a bad taste in your mouth even before eating. And the manager... WHAT A PIECE OF WORK ! ATTN: MANAGEMENT, please rethink your roster. A heavy set balding Latino with the personality of a wall, needs to remember hes dealing with the public. I found him extremely unprofessional. When we were finally seated our waiter was very nice, looked stressed but still very nice. The food was mediocre but when you're hungry and drove 50 miles to eat with family, well you just deal. And there should be more than 1 blender in a restaurant for margaritas...hellooo. And a bit of Mexican music would be nice. Afterall it is a "...
