& Dim Sum — Restaurant in Chino Hills

Disappointing to go to a restaurant with "Dim Sum" in the name of the business and find no dim sum offered.

Items like siu mai, har gau are staples at any legit dim sum place yet not on the menu for this place.

It's like going to pizza hut cuz the name says pizza and when you arrive, the don't serve pizza. WTH?

Option 1: Please remove the term "Dim Sum" from the name of your business. It is misleading.

Option 2: How about your restaurant actually add dim sum items to your offerings.

Response from the owner Hello Bobby! We are a small family business with only two chefs! All of our dim sum are freshly hand made to order. Our menu is limited at the moment but we only serve dishes we are completely satisfied with. We hope to expand our menu slowly but surely!

I appreciate your response, but your response did not address my issue. Your business name has the term dim sum yet your menu has just a few items considered dim sum.

Worst service ever!! We came here today around 2:25pm, the lady server told us that they will close at 3pm, is it ok? We say yes; so she led us in. The restaurant was about 85% empty, only 8 customers in the entire place. She told us 2 to sit next to a long table of 6 people, about 2 feet away along the wall. Our table was half used for placement of dinnerware. She put 2 pieces of paper on our table, layered on top of each other, to be used as table cloth. she did not have 2 seconds to put each paper in front of us. She did not offer to take drink orders or water. After she finished taking a phone order; we ordered juicy dumpling and wonton soup, because the other popular item was not available. We waited for a while, then she came back and told us they prefer not make juicy dumplings because it takes a long time, can we switch to another dish that’s already made? At that moment, we lost our appetite and left. This is the most unpleasant dining encounter I ever experienced! the she was rude and unprofessional! This review is based purely on their customer service. We arrived and were hoping to dine in for the night. We entered the restaurant and waited for someone to greet us. A lady came out and saw us. The first and only thing she said to us was, "Sorry, no table." She then proceeded to walk back to the kitchen. We understand that there is limited seating at this time. However, we saw multiple tables available in the dining area where people were currently eating. To reiterate, these were open tables in an active dining area and not ones that were sectioned or closed off. She left and had us standing there looking pretty dumbfounded and embarrassed in front of the customers who were staring at us. It was quite humiliating to be frank. I was not going to wait around as the service within literally less than a minute was the worst that I've had at any restaurant. I've worked in the restaurant business before.
