Evaluated as different drink types + service and comfort of seating. This was a very hit/miss experience for us.
Might return just for the milk drinks. As of now, 2 stars due to overpriced food, wait time, astringent/sour espresso and lack of...
Read moreMy mom and I recently visited the Dirty Pinguin in Chino Hills after our trip to Los Angeles, and it turned out to be a delightful coffee shop stop. As we stepped inside, we were immediately captivated by the chic ambiance that surrounded us. The interior design was truly on point, creating a cozy yet trendy atmosphere.
Upon glancing at the menu, I couldn't resist trying their Mocha Latte, and boy, was it a delightful choice! The rich and velvety blend of coffee and chocolate was a perfect treat for my taste buds. The Mocha Latte was undoubtedly a highlight of our visit, earning a well-deserved 10 out of 10 rating.
The Dirty Pinguin takes pride in serving organic donuts, and while they were a commendable effort, they didn't quite become my personal favorite. However, the fact that they offer organic options adds a wholesome touch to their offerings, appealing to health-conscious customers.
One of the standout features of this coffee shop is their dedicated play area for small children. This thoughtful addition allows parents to enjoy their coffee while keeping an eye on their little ones. My mom was especially thrilled with the opportunity to snap selfies against the stylish backdrops that adorned the shop, making our visit a fun and memorable experience.
In summary, our visit to the Dirty Pinguin was a wonderful post-Los Angeles coffee break. The Mocha Latte was a definite winner, the ambiance was chic and inviting, and the play area and backdrops added unique touches that set this coffee shop apart. While the organic donuts didn't quite match my taste, the overall experience was a resounding success, thanks to the exceptional coffee and...
Read moreThis place was recommended to us to go check out so we were pretty psyched to try it. It's in an unsuspecting business-y sort of plaza and the signage isn't great so if it's your first time there, it's a bit confusing to get to.
We got there very shortly after they opened on a Saturday and we were the first and only customers at the time. The two employees there weren't very friendly, nobody greeted us or let us know that they would be with us shortly. We just kind of stood there for a while before we were finally acknowledged.
The decor of the shop was awesome. There were plants everywhere, there was a really nice variety, and they were all for sale. Loved the ambiance.
We ordered the vegan burrito, a lox bagel, a caramel iced latte, and a coffee, but they don't serve coffee (?) so they ended up getting us an americano instead. Our order took about 20 minutes, and they didn't give us our drinks ahead of time so again we were just kind of sitting there. The food was really good though! It was on the more expensive side for the amount of food we got, but it was very good. The Americano was good, and the caramel latte was alright.
We probably won't go back. We thought it was overpriced for what it was, but we are glad we tried it...
