I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Original Thai BBQ restaurant, in Chino Hills and it was an experience that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The newly remodeled and inviting atmosphere immediately set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful Thai BBQ journey.
Starting with the BBQ Beef skewers were so delectable, the Sweet Angel - deep fried stuffed chicken wings were a perfect crispy and flavorful delight, providing the perfect balance of textures. The Tom Yum seafood soup was a highlight, boasting a seafood blend of spices that warmed both the heart and soul. It's my favorite soup.
For the main course, I opted for the Thai BBQ chicken, a classic Thai dish that exceeded expectations. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the combination of sweet, sour, and savory flavors created a dance on my palate. The combination Chow Mein with the works was another standout, rich in flavor and a must.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the authenticity of the dishes. It felt like a genuine taste of Thailand, with each bite transporting me to the streets of Bangkok. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, quality ingredients were evident in every dish.
The Thai beer selection was a plus and a nice touch and they also serve wine.
The service was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall positive impression. The staff's knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations enhanced the dining experience.
In conclusion, this Thai restaurant not only satisfied my culinary cravings but also transported me to the heart of Thailand through its authentic flavors. Whether you're a Thai cuisine enthusiast or a newcomer, this establishment is a must-visit for a truly memorable dining experience.

Read moreI really hate having to write a bad review for any restaurant, I usually review places I like. This restaurant has numerous good reviews and I don't know why. I live in Asia, I'm in the area visiting family.
Lunch on a Sunday, we order a beef salad and a pad Thai. Wow, not good. The beef is tough low quality and the lettuce is thick iceberg with no flavor, sauce that is almost like Thai food but watered down. The shrimp pad Thai is so sweet we cannot taste the nuts or eggs. Even the way they served it was ridiculous because they covered the sprouts with the noodles and then soaked everything in syrup.
We're eating away trying to ignore the bad food (it was edible and was worthy of maybe 2 or 3 stars). Then my wife notices something wrong with the shrimp and spits it out. I think she's overreacting and I eat a shrimp, bit mistake. It tastes like I'm gnawing on a moldy wood deck. I spit it out and get nauseous, run to the toilet at puke. When I come out a manager is at the table and asks if everything is ok. I tell him no, the shrimp has gone bad. He says, well, it looks like you've eaten quite a bit of it! I had to tell him, the shrimp is spoiled, I just spent 30 minutes in the toilet throwing up and cleaning up and you're accusing me of subterfuge?! It was so strange! He offered no apology of any kind. I got overly upset and told them I was leaving and I wasn't paying, he just shrugged.
I got the distinct impression that this sort of thing happens there at least once a week. If you go there, it looks like the best dish is Thai BBQ chicken and do not order the shrimp!...
Read moreI'll start with I've never had Thai food so this was a first experience for me but I do enjoy food and trying new places. Our waiter Tony after finding out this was our first trip suggested the Thai tea and is was so sweet even my daughter enjoyed it. We got a plate of spring rolls as an appitizer and matched with the chilli sauce they came with was the first of many impressive dishes to come to our table! My husband got the beef skewers, I got a seafood chow main dish and our daughter got scampi Thai (don't remember the exact names of the dishes) we could not keep our hand to our own dishes! We were all taking a little of eachother dish to share the yummy goodness! The beef skewers were delicious on their own accord but had a peanut sauce that was like liquid peanut butter 🤤 my chow main had every critter in the sea and I could tell it was prepped with so much care with how the squid was decoratively sliced 🤩 and the shrimp on my daughter's plate were so juicy! We've definitely added this place to our dinner date list. Thanks for reading my whole "TedTalk" about food 😅 P.s. I would have take. More photos but my phone died...
