Well, we ordered 6 different rolls... and out of the 6, we got 4 that were identical to the picture I've shared here. When we asked about the food, the waitress said they're all different... so we ate them to avoid an argument. Then the waiter kept bringing other sushi plates that belonged to other people. So we honestly were about to ask him to just leave them on our table... because those at least were different. But they took the food away and gave it to the right peoole. Lucky them that they got their orders right... unless they were receiving mistakes like us. I was recommended to try this place... and I did. But never again will I come back. I know a better spot for a dollar less than what they charge here. And yes it is far better with good service too. People do come here, and maybe because they haven't tried other spots. But this spot will be the last place I would try again. Believe me, there's way better. Try Upland and Ontario, you'll find some better there... ive tried them already.

Kiku Sushi offers delicious sushi, rolls, hot food, udon, apps you name it they got it. It is an extensive menu but, if it works go with it. I like the fact that they offer happy hour or combo sets, I get it not everyone wants AYCE or people just don’t eat that much. I’ve personally found getting nigiri and the rainbow roll is worth the bang for your buck! Quality was very good! There was a minor issue during our meal. We ordered a roll with shrimp tempura in it and goodness, it was awful, the tempura tasted old. The owner did the right thing and took it back. I was disappointed because while heading to the bathroom I noticed a ton of people that ordered mixed tempura that looked absolutely delicious, how did I get stuck with a bad one? $45 seems to be the typical price for AYCE now a days! I did the premium ayce ($49.99) Sushi was mediocre, not too fresh and they really skimp on the actual fish pieces and try to fill you up on rice and fake crab. Had a bad experience. They rushed me 40 min before closing, saying it's last call (I barely got my round 1 items). So my mistake that I ordered more than I can eat, but then they had audacity to charge me $10 extra for some leftover rice and couple pieces I left (see picture). I understand the policy but $10 extra didn't seem fair, $5 I would've been ok with. so my bill ended up being like $65, totally not worth it. I told them to their face that I won't be back because of their policy...they didn't seem to care much. They rather get the extra $10 surcharge than keep a potential long time customer.

Wow, in my 30 years I have never been treated so poorly by a server in my life. The food here was perfect, all the other servers were great. But one server (she gave me manager vibes) was HORRIBLE. There was 4 of us, and we ordered a bunch of sushi on the first round (not our first time, we know how much we can eat) she takes the paper and says no, you ordered too much food. We charge for extra food. We said yeah we know, there is 4 of us and we’ll pay if we don’t eat it (knowing we could) she walks away, comes back a minute later and asks if my 2 year old is eating too (I’m not paying AYCE for my 2 year old to eat 4 edamame) Food comes and it’s great…except they never brought us three of the rolls we ordered. One of the plates of sashimi the rice was so sticky it wouldn’t come up off the plate when grabbing the roll so there was some rice on the plate. She warns us she will charge us extra is we leave any more rice. While trying to explain about the rice she takes the plate in the middle of explaining and walks away. One of the rolls brought to us the server said it’s name (which was wrong) the roll did not match the description. We try to tell her it’s the wrong roll and she ARGUES back and forth that’s it’s not. We tried to explain it has extra/different ingredients on it. She says “sometimes the chef adds extra stuff” when trying to explain it doesn’t have any of the right ingredients and has different stuff she WALKS AWAY mid conversation. She never came back and sent other servers. Seeing as she had mentioned in FOUR different ways we would be charged extra for things I explained to the server we would NOT be paying extra for the wrong roll. I just can not believe the unprofessionalism expressed by that one server. Everyone else was great but because of her I will not be returning to...

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for more than 7 years because the quality of good is great, but the service that I receive there after years of bringing my friends & families and giving them my business is truly disappointing.

They are wildly inconsistent with how they do things and because I’ve gone there a lot I’m now starting to think it’s personal. The manager doesn’t seem to like me as she is never welcoming and they’re always forgetful when it comes to my food or my table especially today when there was only 1 other customer that was there. I watched these customers place an order and receive their food after I did and they were way more tentative to them.

Because their service is inconsistent, I’ve always tipped accordingly. If they treat me well I leave a tip, if not I won’t leave a tip. I feel as though they treat me a certain way because of this and they generally EXPECT people to tip every time even though I feel unwelcome every time I eat there and never know if they’re hostile towards me for that specific reason or it’s their culture.

Either way today was the last straw. I will not be coming back anymore. You’d think that after all these years we’d be able to establish a friendship as you would with a local business, but these people have never had any hospitality with me or made me feel like I’m one of their special returning customers. At least a warm welcome or some kind of a gesture. Instead I feel like they intentionally try to make me feel uncomfortable and think “here’s the guy who doesn’t tip us.” And it’s like if you want to be tipped well then earn it.

Good food, bad service. I regret giving them my business all of those years hoping to one day expect...

It was my wife's favorite place until recently . My kids and i took her out for dinner for an all you can eat on her birthday. We have 3 older children and my youngest is 6yrs old Autistic she will not eat what they are best known for . We brought in outside food and were not allowed to give my daughter her food. We had to order a bento box which it came with fries and my daughter was hungry ate all the fries .I asked can order I order more fries and the staff looked at me like I'm stupid. The entire time the staff were just hovering over our table to make sure we didn't give her the food we had brought so she could eat. The staff had brought 6 rolls from the first round of all you can eat. We were a couple of rolls in, mind you my daughter had only eaten fries from there and knowing we had her food in the bag we weren't allowed to have it out for my daughter to join us. By this time my wife was fed , got up asked for the car keys took my daughter with her and the food we had brought for her so she could finally have something else than just fries. My kids and I were embarrassed on how it made my wife feel we finished what we has ordered. I paid my bill and we left let me tell you it wasnt cheap they gave themselves a $42 gratuity fo the for the experience my wife...
